I have battery saver on so the configuration shown here after min 1:53 was super helpful. Now I receive the notifications without needing to turn off the battery saver option.

the problem is the app cant bbe found in phone notifications. its in phone apps and there i allowed notifications and also ingame i allowed notifications but it isnt appearing in phone notifications..no matter what i do

first you open gmail and setting . choose ur email . then click manage label then u choose whatever on there like primary or whatsover ... then you click on that label notifications . i just did it and its works

@ devim6922 I did this and it worked for me Open settings, then click on the account you are not receiving notifications on, then click on manage labels on the notifications category and then for the multiple options which you find there( primary, promotions, social, etc) click on each one of them and change the sync messages from last 30 days to all and also don't forget to tick the other two boxes on each of them

Ok it is old post, but it is relevant today on Android 13. So what I have tried: Delete all accounts - non Battery manipulation settings/doze - non Reinstallation of Gmail to factory - non Cache delete - non What was worked only and on several phones: 1. Delete accounts 2. Delete Google Play services - Storage data 3. Delete Play store - Storage data From this moment works everything and I am feel that whole notifications from app work as it should.
