ok, I can't make you understand how i'm feeling right now, I was using my phone with engineering rom for 2 months and finally my original firmware is back with the network working. Bro no one shows to restore using imei backup, I know they didn't lost IMEI. but, it confuses many peoples since, we need restoring imei in lost device using their backup. Having some doubts those are, 1. After restoring using imei backup, will it be like before? 2. Does it retrieve both IMEI and others important data related to device? 3. Some people's suggest to flash IMEI backup file to get backup zip what are differences ? 4. Is there any way to restore if they didn't have backup already? Sorry I'm asking many questions but it may help many peoples to get clear idea so please solve this problem by replying to all questions or make a video with this comment... i follow the process, i put the cellphone into fastboot mode, when i run the first cmd command it doesn't recognize the cellphone.. I run it as administrator also

i made all the steps in the redmi note 9, just had to find 'Redmi Note 9 Redmi 10X 4G merlin Engineering ROM' because the pack you share here from link not equal de video. At the end the mobile phone stays on boot loop even with all steps successful. Do not pass the logo, or just load twrp when pressing power on 'corruption message'. The mobile only started with the first old FW...

@@Tubarao87 yes i found a solution but i am not sure. Finally i made all again and used the same rom but EEA. And none of the previous problem happened again. Anyways let me suggest, forget official roms, Lineage is far better.

After install ROM in TWRP, do you used the step of install "IMEI FIX With Stock Miui Merlin" too? Thanks for your help. I only want to have back the smartphone with MIUI 12.5 or 13 with IMEI/WIFI (after made the mistake of FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD in SP Flash), I did all the steps without problems but I can't skip the boot loop of "corruption message". The message appears in this video tutorial too, however in the author case the click in power skip to MIUI configuration.

@@hemanth5395 IMEi will be there and Sim 2 imei with stock rom and both sim imei with custom rom, once imei fix then it will remain there unless by mistake doing flashing wrong file or flashing initial base rom from new developer who just potred rom for the first time, mediatek devices imei are sensitive and get lost tryinh flashing custom rom, that is why must take a backup and keep it safe on computer

if imiei numbers are missing, then mobile will not boot, if one imei is restore then oldest miui with android 10 may boot, with both imei then mobile must have custom rom

if you want to stick with custom rom then you can write 1st imei and 2nd imei and both will work with any custom rom of AOSP roms like Pixel etc etc but with stock or miui custom rom only 2nd IMEI will work, with stock miui or custom miui rom the 1st imei will not be shown and also will not work
