How to troubleshoot BSOD Inaccessible Boot Device Error in Windows 10
Blue Screen of Death errors can be caused by problematic software or by faulty hardware.
It’s common for all BSoD errors to crash Windows 11 and restart your computer in order to prevent damage.
Since these types of errors can be rather serious, today we’re going to show you how to fix INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE error.
Issues addressed in this tutorial:

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE errors are often hard to diagnose because many problems could cause them. They usually result in a Blue Screen of Death that doesn't go away until you address the issue.
It often appears after you've made a recent change to the computer, whether software or hardware. You could also see it during a Windows installation. It usually triggers an automatic reboot and maybe even an automatic repair attempt by Windows.
The message that precedes the error often looks like this:
Your PC ran into a problem that it couldn't handle, and now it needs to restart.
This troubleshooting guide works on Windows 10, windows 11 windows 7, windows 8, OS and desktops, laptops, tables and computers manufactured by the following brands: , Dell, HP, Alienware, MSI, Toshiba, Acer, Lenovo, razer, huawei, dynabook, asus among others.

I got that problem after I updated to Windows 11. I used my Windows 10 usb installer and repair the start up. It works for me. I hope it fix it and will never occur again. I upgrade to Windows 11 with unsupported hardwares.

Per DicerX: What worked for me was to go in the troubleshoot menu>Startup in safe mode>you log in to Windows, as usual,> restart from there and done! This shit won't work, so don't waste your time. These instructions saved my life!

what to do please tell me I have the same problem but the automatic recovery diagnostics does not turn on and so it does not work every 3 times and constantly (there are no flash drives for recovery)

You mostly likely have this file in a different volume letter. Try D instead of C, that should be the solution.

Mine doesn’t do the diagnosing. It’s tries to start an automatic repair then goes to a blank screen with mouse cursor. But nothing changes after that. I left it for an hour.

I installed in Parallels Desktop 17 with Windows 11 ARMS. It worked for sometime until some installation started giving this error and won't boot up. This is for MBR, not for UEFI. Most of this videos on KZfaq are for MBR and won't work for modern UEFI computers.

@@JohnBrown-lj2br you might’ve deleted windows by accident, that’s what happened to me. I got to the blue screen by spamming f11 or f10.. can’t remember but after that I had a usb with windows on it and installed it.

@@kyitzz Yeah, I had to download Windows onto a flash drive using my other laptop. I plugged it in, turned on the laptop, pressed the hot-keys to get to BIOS, I chose the flash drive option and it just re-installed Windows from my flash drive

@@kyitzz just be careful bc I did a fresh installation, if you want your files you should try the repair option. I was fine resetting the laptop, but there should also be a repair option in BIOS once you press the *correct* hot-keys to get you thete

@@chuongpham8759 Hồi chiều để máy cài Visual Studio 2022 preview, vào là bị vậy luôn. Khắc phục không được nên reset lại luôn. Reset lại thì không có mạng mặc dù báo là đã kết nối. Làm đủ kiểu: gỡ bỏ driver mạng cài driver theo main, gõ lệnh, dùng troubleshoot, đặt ip tĩnh,... vẫn không được nên cài lại win 10 luôn sài cho chắc ăn
