How To Fix iPhone X Won't Turn On With Logic Board Repair

iPhone won't turn on and the screen is black or frozen? After software issue being excluded, the problem may be caused by a faulty logic board. Since logic board of iPhone X is a single one that's basically been folded over and soldered together, the unique design and structure have made any repairs to the logic board far more difficult than previous series. With our iPhone X won't power on repair case today, the fault has been confirmed as inductor damage by voltage measurement. I cleaned my logic board with ultrasonic cleaner after a slight water damage. It works fine when it's cool but if it's heat up from wireless charging or longer usage, the phantom touch is back. It's not the LCD problem afaik. How would I go about with only a heatgun?

Why so it can get torn like every flex cable, plus it would wear out over time, also transfer rate would be slower. That would be a waste material, Apple avoids these things.

Not flex cables but simple connectors, like Adruino boards have the possibility to stack, just fine connectors, there is no problem with that, except of you want to cause problems for those who repair that stuff then you solder instead of using connectors, it takes much more time to repair, so it's getting more expensive and finally it is unprofitable to repair and Apple can sell more of that shit to idiots. I am waiting to what STS Telecom will say to this if he got the first one to repair he is specialized to iPhones they could take his and others subsistence with this idiocy.

Are you not blowing any fuses by powering it without having components connected? (like the backlight fuse on the 6s when powering without screen)

Voltage is just a push, like water pressure. It doesn’t harm your sink to have water pressure in the pipes with the faucet off. It doesn’t harm the pcb to have electrical pressure in the wires with nothing attached at connectors. An iPhone 6s is NOT damaged by powering up without the screen. But without the screen there IS voltage there at connector. If you plug in a screen into that voltage it is very easy to let the screen touch ground accidentally-this causes an inappropriate path for current and that’s how you get in trouble!

Backlight driver is not boosting voltage while screen is not connected. It is only vcc on anode pin. But im wondering, how the rewa technician knew that, while board is splited, it can't boot properly, therefore all power lines cannot be present. How did he knew which lines to check? How can even coil fail in $1000 phone in less then a year!? This video is a little bit fishy. But thanks anyway for great learning content Rewa.

Im not sure if your aboit to help but i have an iphone xs max and i did a charging port replacement pretty easy but the phone stays on for 3 minutes and shuts off battery status seem to be correct everything work it just shut off after 3 minutes what do you think causing the issue

For some hardware issues, it's hard to confirm why they get damaged. The inductor is an auxiliary IC for regulating the voltage.

Killuminati Makaveli on the iPhone 7 there is a barometric vent where the jack is on the 6. It was basically a caved plastic piece that serves only (according to apple) to get the correct atmospheric pressure. Clearly just a way to get rid of the jack. In the X they could have easily done things differently but with the excuse of "we cram more shit in" they made the device even less repairable using the dual stacked technology. I also suspect that due to different working temperatures (one board has the cpu the other not) some of those solder balls will crack with time and consecutively thermic excursions. Apple is getting worse and worse against us third party repairers. Marrying phone parts (just look at the 8 and x light sensor problem). Hell they even refused Linus to fix his brand new iMac pro. Don't make excuse for a shit practice company

Doc. Volt it's not because the barometeric vent Apple removed the audio jack to force headset manufacturers to use Apple port as they earn money from every certified part uses this port which is not applicable for 3.5 jack.
