To be honest this is not hard work, but without special tools it will take some nerves and precision! AND as always Renault have made it a bit of challenge, since you wont be able to get to any of drain line ends without a struggle!
For approximate 5 years I have had problems with my Renault Megane automobile air conditioning systems! So this summer is HOT, and more or less I even went to fill up my AC system with a gas, replaced my saloon air blower with more powerful one (last time when I replaced my broken one I bought the cheapest, only 173W, so it has been quite a pain, so I got 250W and now it was how it should be), changed salon air filter and last but not the least thing whit what I was left - blocked AC drain line.
Everything started 5 years ago and since then I kind a didnt have time nor I looked hard enough where I can clean it, but not this time!
So on my video you can see where the air conditioning systems (AC) drain line is, and how to clean it without special tools and if you cant lift up the car, how to do it from inside of the car! Of course if you can get under the car, it would help a lot since by pushing drain line dirt at top they might drop to the end of line and stuck there.
For this job I used electricity cable and that is about it!
I guess if you have some special tools for this, I defiantly suggest to use them because it it will take some time to maneuver the cable in the drain line and even if you will succeed, it is not 100% guaranteed that you will fix the problem, because the AC drain line is with some nasty turns!
So I guess, if I can do it, you can try to do it as well, since I had never done this before and in the end it turned up all right!
In the end my Renault AC system drain line now is unblocked and I can enjoy the ac without worrying that my passenger seat floor will be all wet from leaking water!
