Powershell Commands:
1. set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
2. cd C:\your *username*\ downloads
3. Get-Appxpackage -Allusers
Note: For package full name, go to edit, then find, and then search for Microsoft.WindowsStore.

4. Add-AppxPackage -register “C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\*PackageFullName*\AppXManifest.xml” -DisableDevelopmentMode

Hello KZfaq! In this video, we will show you how to fix the problem that your Microsoft store is missing on your Windows 10 laptop or computer, or if it is not working properly on your PC.
This fix is meant as an easy and quick way to get your Microsoft Windows Store back again but if this doesn't work, the recommendation is to first restart your PC after all the solutions and fixes, and then try reinstalling windows. Meant for all current Windows versions: XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and of course Windows 10.

For some people (including me) in the comments, the issue can be fixed by downloading Xbox app for Windows and at the bottom it gives the option to install missing apps including store.(not my idea I discovered it in the comments)

After Googling to restore the Windows store to my Win 10 PC I was not not able to get it restored. I was almost to the point of just wiping the drive and reinstalling the OS. But I have so many programs that require licenses and files that I was just not up to doing all of that. The I came across this video and it worked PERFECTLY. hi, i tried this and when i press edit and find, then type microsoft.windowsstore it doesn't show me where that file is.. i tried to search for another package and it worked, so i think windows store is missing entirely from my pc. do you have a way to help me there?

Didn't work for me either. No such package found in the list. I downloaded the packages individually and tried to install them through PowerShell, but the WindowsStore package required WindowsUI2.4 or above to function. That's about where I called things off. Any tips?

so i got to where he does the find microsoft store thing in powershell and its supposed to highlight the microsoft store, but for me i literally doesnt exist at all. There is no microsoft store in my powershell, i even looked just with my own eyes, i went to where he was and even scrolled more and more up and i dont think it even exists, ill keep scrolling to maybe find it but i dont think imma find anything, maybe can you make a video for if microsoft store doesnt appear in powershell?

This totally works but you can skip step 5 because it's an example of what step 4 should look like with the name of your PackageFullName. Mine was close with Microsoft.WindowsStore_22204.1401.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe but his is different because it's a different version of Windows. I'll have to bookmark this just in case other users have the problem.

hello, thankyou so much for this video, i have a problem with my laptop, the dwm.exe, (desktop window manager) uses too much of my ram, atleast 1 gb. even with no processes running. i have updated my laptop as well, but the problem didnt solve. my laptop specifications are : intel 10750h ram 8gb 2933 mhz gpu1 intel UHD graphics. gpu2 gtx 1650ti please tell me what should i do? thankyou so much

@@R_Tosh I solved it! how i did it was since I knew that windows would always install a new set of windows apps per update, so I updated to windows 11 from windows 10, and it worked for me, in the new update, I managed to get all of my missing apps which included gallery, xBox live and the Microsoft store

I followed all your instructions, everything worked 100% unlike other tutorials, but I kept getting the same error “store cannot load”. After hours of frustration I realized that it was due to my VPN network being ON 😂👍 Turn it off otherwise you cannot login Microsoft App Store! Have a great day my friend

@@DylanBM I had to download the Xbox App online, open and at the bottom it'll ask to fix missing items. That will take you to the settings and you can download the store. Not a single thing online helped me. Couldn't do any powershell commands or anything.

I suggest viewing a tutorial for powershell on KZfaq. I just went over it quickly in this video so I think you may have not understood it correctly...

Yes. However, if you plan to run it on ultra settings or something, than maybe consider upgrading to 12 or 16 gb. More than that is overkill for fortnight
