Thanks a lot, my GPU wasn't showing in Device Manager, I right-clicked on 'Display adapters' and clicked on 'scan for hardware changes'. Then the Microsoft display adapter came and I copied the hardware id of it and pasted it in the file as shown in the video. It worked :)

You can get this to work. First install your GPU driver from your manufacturer website (which will be outdated) then do this method. Works 100%. I just tried.

@@lucianolizana446 I actually did! I have to reinstall drivers after a restart usually though. You need a program called NvCleanstall to modify your drivers. I learned about it from this video here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e7iddct02La0fXU.html at about 10:00.
