It doesn’t work I’m stuck in the power oppsions and I can’t move my controlers

I've tried everything and my quest 2 tracking still doesn't work my family has gotten it for me for Christmas and pretty much wasted 400 dollars on something that stopped working after 3 weeks

i'm getting the tracking lost error everytime i turn on the headset, by months now. altough it camed out from an update, it still remains after reboots and propers shut downs. But i noticed i can bypass the error everytime: turn on from stand by/sleep the headset but without wearing it, hold it in front of your eyes, without wearing or tighting the straps/elite/halo/whateveryougot. keep it close enough to let the headset detect you are wearing it (3 animated dots appears) but not enough to actually touch or press your face against the facepad and check thru the lenses if the guardian is correctly loaded after the 3 dots animation (it should); once it's loaded you can tight the straps and begin to play so far so good. if not, press the power button once for stand by and try again. I think, at least for my headset, the error it's triggered by some sort of structural tension while weared tightly, which apparently may cause pression to be applied on some tracking's internal components who fails the tracking system to boot up properly. (maybe some accelerometer get squeezed by the face pad pressure and gives an out of range value to the os on boot, and this range could have been changed in some updates)

I don’t know why but my vr headset is spamming tracking lost I can’t fix it because every time I even move A little it spams tracking lost like 10 times please help so I can continue playing vr chat

Very few times that it pops up does it actually mean that something is actually wrong. I've done EVERYTHING in my power to fix the tracking but it's clearly not the actual problem, I've cleaned the lenses I've turned my lights down so there dim but more than visible enough for the headset to see, it still refuses to work though, $300 down the drain because I got a faulty unit or some shit

like everyone else here had the same issue. Tried restarting etc., cleaning cameras. Nothing. What worked though was how I restarted. I wasn't able to use the controllers to select "restart" so the headsets own little "dot" was trying to select it but I couldn't figure out how to click it without the controllers. You have to click the volume button once you have the dot right on the "restart option" and after it restarted I was able to see the home screen and clear out the boundaries and turn tracking back on and it works!

My quest 2 tracking has started flicking around and resetting my position and the controllers keep getting set to a certain position. Has anyone else experienced and knows how to fix this?

I just bought my Quest 2 literally 3 days ago and I can't play games like Supernatural or Synth Riders without my headset glitching out with the lost tracking issue. I'm pretty irritated.

Rubbing the lenses can cause it too, use a microfiber cloth to fix them

I noticed if I smack it near the minus volume button with my knuckle a lil not hardcore it'll work again I assume with all the movements and tighten straps something in there gets off track(haha) so I knock it back also wipe its lenses

Ugh. I can’t even get mine to get off the tracking post. It just keeps flashing it. So I’m trying a factory reset, and it won’t even let me do a new guardian space. And all the controllers do is vibrate

It gives me that can’t track message but since it can’t track anything, I can’t even press continue I’m stuck in limbo

Yes but its just that when i try turning on my meta list the “TrAcKinG lOsT”keeps going on when i try turning my menu on

Dropped my quest 2 after it flew off my head now tracking won’t work at all. Haven’t tried anything yet except resetting it. The menu follows the screen as I look around and my controllers keep reconnecting and disconnecting

How can you fix the Oculus but when you factory reset it and it says to pull up the things out of the controller but I already did so why isn't working

my oculus hasnt been working for the past couple of weeks, everytime i turn it on, my controllers wont connect and it says "tracking lost". i tried un-pairing and re-pairing my controllers and that also didnt work. the controllers just vibrate and wont connect, what should i do?

For me the "tracking lost" is always in the middle of the screen. whenever i move it stay's in the middle and i cant use my controllers OR hand tracking.

Hey do you have any idea of why my headset isn’t connecting to my phone? When it’s on my head I need to use my unlock pattern (which I have forgotten), but when I click forgot unlock pattern nothing happens, as if my headset isn’t on or something. Will i have to factory reset, because I really don’t want to. That scares me. I know my pin so I can reset my unlock pattern the moment it connects but for now I can’t do anything with my headset because it’s stuck.

The best workaround is to wait a bit until that message goes away, if you hit continue the hole tracking will be out of faze, don t know why they don't fix this

For me my oculus is like in passthrough mode but I can't do anything and I can't use my oculus I'm scared I rebooted it a restarted it and it won't work please help

Hey ah I Lost my controllers in the and how do I find them

I just turned off my guardian entirely and the headset is so much better. I use a small rug so I can feel my playspace. But it's great for social VR too, I can just walk to my kitchen and grab a drink etc while staying in VR (I just look through the nose gap lol)

That isn’t it nothing is blocking it’s view, the screen is clean it can see perfectly fine, I did everything I could to make sure of it, it’s just a piece of junk that barely works when you need it.

So I factor reset but I’m still having tracking problems and it’s not letting me even complete the setup phase smh. It’s just showing the code screen when you are setting up the oculus app and then goes to black screen and then comes back and does that over and over. Idk what to do.
