I don’t sing but have such a flat yet nasally voice. I want to hide under the covers if I hear my voice played back on a voicemail greeting or something. I’m from the Northeast and every time I visit my in-laws in CA, everyone they introduce me to always says “you’re not from around here, are you?” Makes me feel like such a bumpkin!

I'm confused with my problem. I don't know is I'm hyponasal or naturally nasal, but I'm saying 'Love' perfectly fine. I've has allergies, stuffed up or runny nose almost endlessly my entire life for 30 years, so my voice sounds SUPER nasally, but I can say 'Love' with no problem. I'm not trying to sing, but I am trying to understand my voice, because when I do streams on Twitch or make youtube videos, I feel I need subtitles because I can't understand what I'm saying...
