Alright so I had this problem, followed all the steps and it seemed to work for a few days until my PC started crashing again. What I did was lower the VCore voltage in ryzen master. It was at 1.38 I think which is way too high. Ever since putting it to 1.35 my PC hasn't crashed since. Hope this helps someone

I already watch some videos about randomly crash/ shutdowns/ Event ID 41 to fix this issue. I thought my psu is my problem until following all steps you modified in Computer management and it works on me. My pc will stable again without randomly reboots/shutdown. my deepest thanks man.

I got this problem months ago after my psu had a broken fan, switched it for another fan and but didn't work because the cables were inverted (nice miss from my part), since then I had shutdowns, then I fixed it somehow, now I have the problem again. The pc only restarts when using Furmak and opening Efootball, I can play other games just fine, already tested the cpu and it wont cause the pc to reboot, so its safe to say that the problem is between the gpu and psu, I bet on the psu of course.

This worked for me for about an hour then I was back to square one. While scrolling through amazon contemplating what I should replace my 1000w psu with I thought i'd first crack out a can of air and give it a good clean. Psu has been working fine since. Managed to play the Callisto Protocol until I wanted to finish. Back here now trying to find some setting to turn back up. Wish me luck *UPDATE* After 5 days still going strong. Not sure if it was taking the PSU out and checking cables or the compressed air that did the trick either way I'm over the moon I don't have to shell out for a new PSU.

The 1 and 3rd steps are bad idea's. As it's a protection measure. So if u turn it off. Then lets say your gpu or cpu is overheating. Well since you've turned it off it'll just burn it up. Instead of turning it off. Horrible advice.

Hello, first of all, thank you for your video, it was really helpful. I followed your advice and also removed the RAM sticks from my computer. I cleaned them with a soft brush and also brushed the RAM slots and blew compressed air to clean them. I replaced the power cable of the graphics card and cleaned its slots and cables with a brush as well. Additionally, I cleaned the computer overall. Thankfully, it's working fine now. I hope following these steps will help fix yours too.

It didn’t work for me. I was playing the sims 4 and about 5-10 minutes later, my computer shut down. I followed all the steps but my computer keeps shutting down. It happens when I play other games too.

I use an old 4th gen core i5 paired with 16gb ram and 1tb HDD. Never had these type of issues until 2021, now after some W10 updates many problem occurs like 100% disk usage etc.I dont think hdds simply die after 4-5 years without any valid reason.

First step will only igore the problem. And could ruin your computer if its a heating issue or something bad like that. Cause u turned that restart protection off. So if it gets hot it'll just burn up instead of restarting or turning it off. Horrible advice.

If you use DDU to clean install drivers, it might solve the problem. I tried everything I could even replace hardware but I just solved this a few hours ago by using DDU and re-clean installing the drivers. This might help :DD. DDU removes every single file connected to the drivers so you can do a clean re-install. Before using DDU I reinstalled drivers without it working properly.

Hi thank you for the video. My issue is not with every game I think. First I got a blue screen, pc restarted all good, run a scannow and repair files, said all was repaired. Before that If I tried to start elden ring and tried going back to desktop to check something then it would crash and restart. Elden ring has a frame gen mod and Hdr which seems to make my 60hz change to 30 automatically. Do you think it could be the same issue

No you shouldn't, High Performance is snake oil. Your performance won't be any higher, only your idle power draw will be much higher...

to anyone having this problem it is a failing/faulty PSU problem this fix is a temporary. if you dont replace own psu your motherboard will be broken because of the faulty psu not enough poweroutput which damages the motherboard which leads to a not working/broken PC.

Sadly this didn't work for me :/ every time I try to open cold war it instantly restarts my PC before the game has a chance to open. After a clean wipe of my hard drives and clean install of windows with all the latest drivers it does the same thing. All parts in my PC are past recommended specs and are less than a year old. UPDATE: I was browsing Blizzard forums and found that a lot of people with new ryzen CPU and Nvidia GPU had the same problem and saw a post of someone saying their game worked fine after updating their bios. I updated my bios and not only can I play Cold War now but all my games across the board run better and have more FPS than previously.

@@s55obzy Before taking these steps please read my warning down below. It depends on your motherboard, check your bios version in the bios (write it down or take a picture). Go to the manufacturer's website and you'll probably find the update file in the support section and will need to find the latest bios update for your Mobo's model. Take the unzipped file (it may differ here), put it on a flash drive or storage device, plug it into your computer and find the area in your bios that allows you to update it. Once you do find the drive you put the file on, select the file, and go through the update process. I'd recommend looking up a video on how to do it for your specific board or maybe a similar board from the same manufacturer. Sorry if this was a little long, good luck and I hope this helps you with your problem as well. ***WARNING: Do not attempt to do this if you are prone to losing power or if you have any issues with something that could interrupt your computer during its update process. Won't these settings harm the PC? Because most of these guys will be overheating their CPUs and the PC not taking any action when the CPU heats up means they'd be heating up their CPU to permanent damages. Just curious🙃🙃🙃🙃

The new driver only fixed one problem with game ARK survival evolved, but still the same problem with CS:GO and Black Mesa, linux is great i am not going to use windows, if you have any idea on how to fix it on ubuntu we can arrange a fee, thanks a lot

None of these steps worked for me. My specific issue is that games would start properly (opening menu and stuff seem fine) but once I finish loading my game, my PC restarts after a second. This happens to me on both Steam and Epic and with different games.

@@MrWoolyTV Nope. Decided to take it to a repair shop...maybe I need to replace mu PSU. Fortunately, it doesn't happen 100% of the time. Sometimes I'm able to play games without the PC restarting. I'll get back to you when I get a definitive diagnosis.

Epic games and steam games seem to work fine for me… Blizzard games are all making my PC hard restart after 5-10 minutes I had brought mine in and they told me it could be my PSU also… problem is I don’t want to replace the PSU unless the fix is definitive…

Followed all 3 steps still restarting every 3-10hrs when playing ARK. Ryzen 7 7700X. RTX 3070. 32GB RAM so i should have no issue at all playing ark. The CPU runs 75c on avrg not even close to overheating
