I can't take it I've tried so much . My PlayStation lags and freezes for like 5 minutes and crashes every game and even shuts completely off randomly . And then takes 30 minutes to actually turn on . Just for it to freeze again . I have the new software update installed , but it doesn't say that on safe mode . But when I try to update it in safe mode . It says an error occurred and then shuts off my ps4. EDIT : if anyone who replied comes back here I love you sm. I’ve been going thru mad depression lately feeling like no one wants to talk to me and I have no friends and ik this sounds dumb but everytime I come back to this comment I feel better because you all relate to me in some way and I feel at home in a way . I know it sounds dumb but thank you .

I have an update, the problem has been fixed but I had to initialise my playstation. This means resetting factory settings. It's like a brand new PS4. One down side this is you lose all your save data but luckily I had cloud save data (ps plus) so I could redownload my save game. (If you'd like to ask me any questions go right ahead and I'll do my best to answer)

Ive rebuilt my database several times, and it does help for just a minute, but then it goes right back to crashing.

I've noticed most of us ps4 players are having the SAME issue these past few months (hence we're here) and for so many of us facing this issue is most likely not coincidence. I'm assuming Sony is behind this. Ps5 is launching soon anyways don't u think?

If you're ps4 is 6 months old or more (depends on your place if it is clean) It need a internal cleaning or thermal paste like in pc. There is probably a dust/dirt inside that stopping the fan to spin properly. Updating the ps4 is not the problem or the new PS5 release. You're ps4 probably collecting dust internal. That's why it's freezing or crashing the game.

Sometimes when I use the share button it freezes me until it actially screenshots or just crashes. If I play for like an hour I'll crash like 3 times.

Great info, but unfortunately none of this worked for my system. I did realize that my console seemed a bit warmer than normal. I simply moved it to ensure better airflow, etc. and now works great with no further issues. Hope this may help others.

Having issues with cod modern warfare. Downloaded all dlc packs. Campaign starts but during cut scenes, the screen goes black and stays like that, closing app does not work. Did the database rebuild, now game goes black in both cut scene and game play. What can the issue be and how to resolve?

Sometimes Crashing it is a normal thing for PS4 And sometimes is with the game you play always should Check is your game is up-to-date as well as updating your system can also help You could even try to turn the PS4 off for awhile and give it a temporary break and see if that works to

Great video but unfortunately none of this will work. I’ve done it all including just now changing my hdd to a new ssd and uploaded the game on the brand new feeling ssd and still get a ce-34878-0 error. I can’t even get paid the second load screen for 2k21. Do you understand how annoying it is to pay for a game you have never even played because Sony keeps telling me my systems messed up when it’s not.

I am new to PS4 (just bought on 14 Nov 2020) and I am getting this error past 1 week. I have tried everything like rebuild data, Full initialize, restore license, lower video output, re-sign in, re-starting. everything. after this I come to now that this pandemic is happening all over the world. I'm having this issue with my Skyrim save file. I was playing it, and the the game crashed. Now I can still get to the main menu (and my wife's save file still works perfectly) but when I try to load my save file, I get to that loading screen for a few seconds but then the animation for it stops and the game crashes again. I have rebuilt the database already and it didn't help, guess I'll have to go for the final option although I think the file is corrupted somehow

I tried rebuilding the database and still not working for fifa 19 career mode. It instantly crashes when I try to get into that mode. Hey there I tried what you said but the Cold War game gets passed the treyarch menu then the screen goes black and it freezes I can see an IP address in the top right hand of the screen this has happened twice the only way to get back to PlayStation menu is to turn off the console at the power

Rebuilt mine twice. It's still having issues. I even put my games on a external hd. There is no games saved on my ps4 any more. can play for a while. Then all of a sudden big lag, graphical glitches, seeing a blue line on the ground. Then either crash, or it gets better. Then crashes in a bit.

Prob has to do with the hardware being damaged. Best choice from there is to get it fixed or replaced

I have a problem with only gta 5. I tried cleaning the disk or checking for any damages or scratches, but nothing. Everytime i lunch gta 5 it takes a while to get past the loading screen but when you do everything i kinda glitchy and still loading, and if everything loads in you can play normally but then it will start to freeze randomly until it crashes. This only happens to me on gta, any idea on how to fix it?

What's up man, I suddenly started to have problems with my cd game the last of us 2, I completed the game 1 time without issue. What happens is when I play it I notice it has small glitches here & there, then glitches out & when I try to restart the chapter it doesn't allow me or an error message pops up wanting me to delete and download again which I've done a number of times but it continues to happen. I've cleared the cache, rebuilt the database still happening, any advice man?.

On PS4 standard I get ce-38700-8 when my merc helm delirium triggers the effect Delirium. Each crash report shows a short video and screenshot, my merc has morphed into an undead fetish doll in each final shot.

If u know ur email and pass , everything will be saved From psn account. But it may delete offline story , and start from prologue of gtav

I have done it before and yes it doesn’t do any of that, if you aren’t doing it for the bug fix then all you will really notice is that the screen that shows your games and stuff is more neat and sorted out
