Here's my 1977 Cheyenne junkyard restoration and a how-to video on how to fix rust on ANY CLASSIC!!! This long bed had severe rust on rockers, and lower parts of the fenders. Had no engine or transmission. Original big block truck that I fixed up, lowered and changed it from a truck going to the scrapyard to a cool driver. This is how I repaired the rust on the truck, I am not saying this is the only way to do it. I worked at a body shop, and this is the way I was taught to do it.
