Recently picked up the Weider Pro 9940 for FREE but didn't like the performance. The pulley, weights or cable were sticking or catching during the workout. Lubrication was the fix. Watch to find out how to lube up.

Yeah, the oiling is a must. But that kink in the cable is the next thing I need to fix.

Also i found that if you change all your resin pulley to aluminum pulley, it also makes thr pulley smoother and less resistant. I did this to my functional trainer. Cost about 80 bucks to rrplace all the pulley wheels to aluminum wheels

I've got the 9400 and one problem I have if I only uses one plate on the stack when I perform the exercise, on the return the rod catches the top of the stack instead of returning in to the centre of the stack what can I do to correct this malfunction.

Hello Sir How to fix uneven top plate? Tried to fix it 2 times, Where Oil was given second time, which helped. But When only The top plate moves up and comes back Down, the middel metal hits The second plate Hole?

The cable snap and wheel came off is there a way to fix it?

Thanks will do. I have a problem with the middle “spike” pole. The alignment is out and keeps missing the centre hole on the weights as I lower the stack. Any ideas?

I put too much lube on mine and now the lube is dry and more sticky than before

I started off with a semi-synthetic oil but that didn't do the trick so I switched to sunseed sunflower oil and now everything is sticky (mostly at the bottom) because it drips down

@@addict9159 I’ve not had that issue with the 3 in 1 and I used a lot too, which dropped down. Good luck.
