You have to deactivate the s mode o: I had the same problem where I didn’t have the “choose where you get apps” option :| but he explains how to deactivate the s mode later in the video

I still had issues switching the S mode off after purchasing my laptop windows 11 gone through all the tutorials on KZfaq had to offer, but after the 3rd day i could finally switch it off. I was frustrated but I made sure I was up to date with the software and kept trying each day.

If y’all are looking and anything does not work look to see if you have any other Microsoft accounts on your laptop or Computer that could be the main account and do what he says and it may ask you to log into your Microsoft account and log into the account you want it on and it should work

Important is to find that option: choose where to get apps from and choose anywhere. Probably different versions have this settings at a different place.

Most probably your PC is on S Mode. Did you checked that? is explained on the video.

Removing s mode solved my problem. I believe when s mode is actually activated you dont even have the option "choose where to get apps" So in order to even enable that option first you must disable "s mode" I guess s mode is microsoft's little safty net pre installed on some systems. Disabling it was like peeling off the plastic on a new pc 😂😂😂
