what if it says path not found?

I deleted my efi partition when installing linux, and I thought I was going to have to reinstall Windows! You saved me. It so happened my /boot directory was on e not c. Once I realized that, I followed your directions, then had to run the auto fix to repair, and it worked. Thank you so much!

You can go into bios and disable boot priority and restart. That should fix it for anyone who just installed windows 11. It’s using the wrong boot order. Also I have a macronutrients clone drive so that affected it. By disabling boot priority it will finish installing windows and learn the boot order as result.

Nobody show how you get recovery menu… I can’t start windows, just blue screen.

I have Error Code 0xc00000f and this did not work for me. First, no matter how many times I powered off and on it would not go into the recovery tool. So I created a bootable USB with the Win11 ISO. Got to the recovery tool, command prompt, then like several other people the attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s gave "path not found". It's a laptop so I have C, D and E drives. C is the boot drive, D is completely empty and E is the USB. I tried the automatic repair, no luck. I will go and look for other tutorials but I wonder if anyone lese figured out the path not found thing. Also, I don;t seem to have a way to reset Windows 11. I will go and Google that also.

i got "A device does not exist was specified" for bootrac /fixmbr
