net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver

what the video says and what the video description says are 2 different things, so far what the video said didn't help. I also tried the stuff in the description but the important bits Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old didn't seem to do anything, nothing was displayed and the cursor just immediately jumped to the next line. So then i tried windows update again, took longer than usual to check for updates, it said it downloaded the update i have troubles with (kb5004237) even though it's 500+MB and i was monitoring the network traffic, nothing was actually downloaded, which means it probably tried to install the version it already downloaded who knows how long ago, which means that the 2 Ren commands didn't delete the old installer (i presume that is what they are supposed to do) and i can't delete them manually either (says Access Denied)

i watched your video & it looked promising cause it was different from everyone else...I:ve had this problem for so long now & i'm at my wits end.. i had to buy a brand new laptop which i:ve been updating for the last 4 days with very little sleep....i really want to fix my other laptop but don:t know what else i can do....please help...Why should it be doing this when my laptop is said to compatible with windows 11, yet can;t download a stupid thing like a media tool..

the best way to fix this is -> dowload MediaCreationTool21H2 and install (update) windows 10 again with saving our apps and windows options. Its takes about 1 hour. I try everything but only MediaCreationTool21H2 saves my life :)
