Before you factory reset or download everything to a USB just try clicking continue. It worked for me and could save you alot of time

FYI: no matter how slow or laggy your Xbox is you’ll still be able to load the troubleshoot menu. Mine was laggy, didn’t load games or even my settings. Did this and reset my Xbox, unplugged all my cords for 3 mins or so, and even cleared my persistent storage and now my Xbox is working so much better. I recommend this before you get mad and buy a ps4 lol. Appreciate the video!!

All I did was move the Xbox from 1 room to another and it wouldn't load past the green screen except for one time it went to a black screen. Smh. Trying your steps now. Hopefully this works as I was giving this Xbox to my brother as a birthday gift.

Like all others thank you sooooooo much. I did restart and saved data and games I did use to redo some sync with games but so far that's all. I have some updates in queue as well but seeing the home screen felt sooooooo nice. I subbed liked and will watch all your videos just because!! Maybe the algorithms will pick you up and boost you higher. If I had extra money I'd honestly donate to you I I could but I don't have anything but I will pay it forward by helping someone else today!!!!!

Wow this really does work holy cow thank you thank you! We had to move our tv in our living room and got the green screen - this is LITERALLY the only thing that worked! We went to the reset button and did the first one that kept our apps and other stuff...seriously we had been trying for 2 hours...thank you again!!!

To be honest I never had this issue at all and that's because I always make sure my OG Xbox One is up to date And it's on energy saving mode so that way it doesn't use up any RAM at all🤦‍♂️ It's clear to me people who have this green screen of death issue seriously don't know how to take care of their console🤦‍♂️ I've had my OG Xbox One since 2014 and it still works like it's brand new 😍 And I still play the latest games like cyberpunk 2077 Plus I have over 300 games installed😍

Just adding this in case it helps someone . It might not be the Xbox if you are on a UHD tv ! I have got stuck on a green screen on two different Xbox one's connected to two different TVs . I tried all the fixes but ended up being the tv needed restarted . Easy way to figure it out is switch to a different input and see if you have a picture . Not sure why it sticks at green but it does .

Thanks so much. Helped a lot. My xbox had been lagging in the home menu when trying to browse apps & games. Sometimes would freeze altogether in between going through apps, had to keep hard resetting. Then finally i tried restarting & got the infinite green screen of death loading screen Its a refurbished xbox & i have a 2 year full warranty so i could easily just go and replace my xbox for a new one for free, but wanted to see if this works first & it does. If the issue continues though in the future, I'll just go & get a new Xbox for free. I always recommend paying that extra $3-$50 warranty. It can literally save you hundreds down the line if your xbox dies on you or gets damaged.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!! I recently had this issue. I tried continue and it didn't work. My only problem was not unplugging the Xbox so the energy could dissipate. Once I did this it worked when I pressed continue.
