Reminder, these are baselines, but playing with proportions helps you avoid same face syndrome, looking at references and studying them may be hard, but its important

I’m fine with making my characters features asymmetrical and I even do it intentionally sometimes.I find uneven eyes,crooked noses etc really beautiful,it just makes the drawing look more human

I love your technique! I can never find a sure way that I like to draw characters… XD It’s a learning process! I agree that an important thing about drawing humans is that although they look symmetrical, they are NOT 😂

I would rather use a red brush and i prefer to draw cartoon character, but when I'll try to draw realism or anime, I'll try your technique! (My technique to draw cartoon characters are the shapes like circle, triangles, rectangles etc.)

If I was a beginner artist I would come straight to the comment section and say: BUT ITS JUST MY STYLE… 😭if you were about to say that don’t feel bad, to create new rules you have to understand the rules before that and learn how to adjust them. But going in without any base ground rules will not help you
