There is an audio in Spanish that blew out my mind. A woman is taking Spanish and we Spanish speakers can "hear" two completely different words, bicicleta or alquiler, depending on the word you think about. And it's related to this video because she probably doesn't say neither bicicleta or alquiler, but we hear whatever we want to hear depending on the context we give to it.

I find that so fascinating. In English, there's an audio where some hear Yanny and others hear Laurel.

I love doing this with movie scenes. It really improves my listening very fast.

How do you go about doing it? What's your process like?

@@town944folk I use subs2srs, which splits up the audio based on subtitle files. You can hide the subtitle text on anki if you really want to. I like that anki provides some structure.

At the end of this video, you said that "in the next video" you would show us how to implement what you just taught us but there is no next video. What happened to it? You were making so much sense and I was looking forward to part 3. Can you refer us to a different video then?

I'm doing this with Italian and am finding new value in rote repetition using audacity, I go up to 100 reps, I am thinking of even going up to 2-300.
