used a 16GB flash drive flashed from a map running 10.12.3 formatted the drive to fat and copy and pasted the files over, unit flashed for maybe 2 minutes and rebooted it is now up and running. Thanks!

You can also flash the BIOS if your battery is not charging. Dont buy a battery yet, 98% of the time its just a quick BIOS flash and youre back in business

This only works with the USB stick formatted as FAT not FAT32, and u should use 512, 1gb at least 2gb USB stick, this don't work with 4gb 8 gb and more MS.

I'm trying to use chromium on my Acer Aspire One. When I do, with a USB stick, the screen flicker constantly. Would flashing the BIOS help with this?

My computer started acting up after i added more ram. I know the stick is compatible because i checks "Crucial.com" But every so often it just freezes and won't come back on until i switch the ramstick slots.
