I love the huge crack in the rear left boom that you can see when David dials the scaling up to 250. You can tell he's been having a lot of fun with that copter. :)

Dual rates are limited by the stick scaling. Stick scaling is the absolute range. Whereas the expo setting is relative to that range. I hope that helps. -Chad

I'm flying my Small CC3d Quad in Rattitude mode, and it's really fun. The "tipp" with less throttle really was helpfull. I've set my "off" throttle to 5% with trim so my blades always spinning.

I know I am not the only one thinking this but could you use helicopter transmitter programing and variable pitch props(from a 3d airplane) to fly upside down. You could really cut some grass with a quad. You should try it just for fun. Also I just got some kk2 boards so I will wait for your any copter to be back in stock so I can build one. Thanks to all of you for the great channel. David, I hope you never leave.

If you are running any of the cleanflight variants, set up a switch for air mode so that you can put the throttle on its lowest setting and still have control, which flite test covered in a more recent video. If you don't use cleanflight, set an idle up switch on your radio to increase the minimum throttle to achieve the same effect

Great video I've been wondering how to flip for a while. Can you guys do KK2.0 P&I Gains and Limits video that explains what they do and how to set them up. I've watched countless videos of setting them up and people flying them round looking super stable but every time I think I've nailed it the next flight it wobbles all over the place again. Thanks for all the tips and keep up the good work!

Good ol' Quadcopter I'd say, depends on if you want to build it yourself or buy something that is ready to go. HobbyKing has it all. (They even have a micro Quad that is ready to fly for not a crazy amount of money, now even available with the superb KK2.0 board!)

This is pretty cool and right on keeping the props turning and moving prop greats more drag slowing the fall a stopped prop=fall but I wonder if flips can be done quicker with brake and reverse tho need some fast acting motors. I live reverse confuses people when you fly upside down tho I suck at it and I fall outta the sky alot

@Stambo59
@Stambo59 11 жыл бұрын
Stick scaling has to be set on the kk2 first to allow it the extra manoeuvrability. Then you can still use dual and expo rates to tone it down for normal flight. The tx can't adjust what's not there to start with so if stick scaling is 50 then the tx uses 100% of 50. If scaling is 100 then tx uses 100% of 100. You could put tx DR at 50% and have it the same as the first example. Is that kind of clear.

I ordered two kk2.1 boards and they both have the same issue. M1 output sends the wrong signal to whatever ESC I plug in. It makes any motor start like the others and then accelerate very fast. This is on a level surface after ACC calibration and ESC calibration. If I plug motor 2 on M1 output, then motor 2 accelerates. If I plug motor 3 on M1, then motor 3 accelerates and so on. I tried everything possible. I reflashed both boards with all the firmwares available many times. It flies but it's very jittery because of that issue. Anybody got an idea? Am I so lucky that I got 2 bad boards?
