Great video!! Do you ever use a dehydrator instead? If you’re using a dehydrator for the flood consistency base layer to dry, somewhere between 90-95*, how long do you recommend them to dry before the next layer? And then something I’ve been learning recently is that if you’re going to put a layer on top of this, if it dries too much, it can cause cratering in the layer above... what are your thoughts on that? Thanks so much! Keep up the awesome videos!

@EmmasSweets
@EmmasSweets 5 жыл бұрын
Perhaps it is the brand. The ones that I use right now are these howsweetisthat.ca/on-line-store.php#!/Tipless-Piping-Bags/p/47117415 when you snip of the tip and push the icing through, squeeze the tip and it will round it out again.. so hard to explain lol
@winerellamaine4033
@winerellamaine4033 4 жыл бұрын
Hey there! I’m not sure if this fixes your issue but the “bag tip gets flat” - I’ve been instructed to make sure the seam is upright at the top, so you cut OVER the seam. If you cut your tip and the seam is on the left or right side, it makes a weird angle with the tip and makes a weird shape to the icing coming out. Does that make sense?

@maggiemay3108
@maggiemay3108 4 жыл бұрын
@Ashley Irwin you can ice the cookies as soon as they have cooled. Once you ice them, they need to air dry for 8 to 12 hours for the icing to be completely dry. They don’t get stale at this point because the icing protects the moisture in the cookie. Hope this helps...
