Thank you! And thanks for the shattered glass tip! I had a lot of trouble with it when I tried to epoxy so I will try this next time. I was so disappointed The glitter looked just like sand on the cup it was awful when I did it. 😭😭😭. But the glitter is so beautiful I figured it was operator error for sure. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for this video! I do have a question however, I did my very first tumbler :) although it wasn't terrible it wasn't how I wanted it. I used chunky glitter and there were about two places where it is a bit raised. I did slightly sand it and it did help some. I guess my question is, that was a week ago. I still would like to put a name on the tumbler at this last in the game can i still do a flood coat? Or, what would my options be? Could you please help me!! LOL

I am new at this and I coated my 20 oz cup with the epoxy using only 10ml. I didn't know flood coating was a thing until I watched this video. I noticed my cup is missing epoxy in some places so I am thinking I didn't use enough. It's still a little sticky. Can I go ahead and flood coat it now?

Thanks for the video!! I signed up to follow the group. I’m super super new to the tumbler world. I think my problem is my layer is too thin. I have like divets or fisheyes I guess. Should I sand it? And add my decal and then flood like in this video?

Hey Tina! Yes you’ll want to lightly sand and then you can flood coat.

Flood coating is after your first layer of epoxy? Or can you do it as your first coat?

You can do either or. In this video I used it as a first layer.

Amanda Triplett I used a vinyl stencil and alcohol ink to paint in the stenciled area.

How do you get the design with the blue and the white cheese come together with a nice-looking scene where the blue stops in the white begins

+patrickrios1980 before I added any glitter I painted my cup white. I used a stencil to outline the waves and used alcohol ink to paint the area blue. I glittered opal glitter called peony from our collection and it created a nice effect

Does this work on cups without glitter? What would be the measurements for a non glittered 30 oz?

Leslie Guerrero great question! Yes it can and no it does not need a full flood you can easily do 25-30oz and be fully covered.

Can someone help me I did a tumbler 30oz with acrylic paint. I didn’t epoxy before adding the epoxy with paint. Now my cup has bumps were the epoxy didn’t move. I added a other layer of epoxy and it’s still feels the same. What can I do I’m new to this.

Alejandra Covarrubias Hi I would give your cup a light sand to get them semi even to your cup. Then I would do a flood coat. This will help even out those areas. Let me know if you need additional help.

Do you reuse the cup you mix the epoxy in? Can you wash it

My silicone cups yes. It’s an easy clean up. You can let the epoxy harden and then peep it off the cup. Or use a rag and alcohol and clean the cup. Either way works

If I’m doing a 16oz, how many Ml’s would you recommend for flood coat ?? Also I’m really wanting to purchase glitter from you guys but I only see the option to do PayPal . Is there a check out where we can use VISA and I’m just not seeing it ? Thank you !

I would do 25 to 30 mls. We accept all forms of payment, you’ll just have to click on the option continue and it will send you to the credit card portion.

How long do you wait before you add the flood coat?

Any time I try a flood coat, it has big drips at the top of the cup and I'm not using a ton of epoxy. 😩

As long as you are using an FDA compliant epoxy and it’s fully cured. Yes it safe to drink out of your beautifully designed cup.

It's best to put part B in the cup first then add part A, since part A is thicker.

+Maria Macias This way in my opinion is the best to ensure a smooth and even coat on your first coat of epoxy. It saves you a days worth of work and requires little to no sanding the first time. The biggest reason is time and the even coverage.

All Lacquered Up for the double turner or the single. The double turner is GGFSPIN1 single turner is GGFSPIN8
