I don’t think it will work because when you press to acrylic there is nothing for the htv adhesive to soak into so it’s just going to spread outwards causing your lines to get thick and no longer defined

@@emem7494 it sounds like the paper you’re using likely has some kind of coating on it. I would try a different type of paper

I don’t know other than the htv foil doesn’t maybe come in the color you want. I don’t personally use htv foil since mostly it’s a cricut brand product and I don’t use their vinyl and htv

There are for sure several methods to do this. I have the toner option shown as well in another video. I agree this one does have some work involved but if you absolutely don’t have a laser printer it’s a good option.

No this foil cannot be used with the cricut foil transfer kit. That foil is ok but I find it flakes off

I don’t recommend doing business cards with cricut it’s not cost effective and this doesn’t work for super tiny details

Honestly not really. There are companies that do this and it would be less time consuming but probably fairly pricey.

This is a great idea if you have this material and make a project like that every once in a while. For faster and more crisp results, you can use a laser printer, print your design, use toner foil, and press in your heat press. You get the most dainty thin lines foiled, no 'spreading-out' glue. If you don't have a laser printer, you can have a copy shop print it for you. Different toners work differently. (My HP color deskjet black toner doesn't foil well, but my Brother's toner does.)

@@CorinneBlackstone I tried to make an invitation with the transfer foil kit and it took 45 minutes to cut and it ripped my vellum but now I have all this Cricut foil and was going to try it your way but was wondering if I could use the same foil instead of Buying new foil? Or could I just use heat transfer vinyl and skip the adhesive part? I spent 7 hours last night trying to make one invitation and ready to throw in the towel and just order them! So frustrating and disheartening

@@daniellemitchell2161 honestly I don’t even recommend making invitations on cricut it’s time consuming and expensive the cricut foil will not work with this product. You could use a metal htv but weeding is going to be a nightmare
