I was unfortunate enough to try out a pop-up tent in my sleeping room. Have been forced to sleep in it for the past five years as it wouldn't fold up. Thanks to your video I can finally use my bedroom again in a normal way!

10 years on and still helping us put down pop-up tents. Strugged for half an hour, watched this video, folded straight away. A masterpiece of a video!

I’m 64 and bought one of these for a little summer camping, 50 years after my last camping experience. I thought I’d try a short stay in my dining room for one night. The thing went up fine .... apart from a black eye and a broken lamp shade .... also I haven’t see our cat since that fateful day, a week ago. The night passed almost uneventfully, apart from my aged bladder needing emptying 3 times and getting in and out, I managed to pull several muscles. So the next morning, the sleeping bag went into its container with a little bit of a struggle, but it’s there. The inflatable mattress was deflated and won’t go back into its box, but it’s manageable. The tent .... ah the tent!! I read the instructions and hummed to myself in realisation that it wasn’t going to be easy. 8 steps ... how hard could it be?? Well 60 minutes passed and I gained another black eye (the other one), bruised fingers and another broken lampshade (a different one). That was 6 days ago. In the meantime we have been having our meals in the kitchen, the dining room door firmly closed, although I have been peeping in each morning to see if an undocumented self-folding mechanism had operated. It hadn’t. So, this morning...... a lightbulb moment ...... KZfaq. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Only 30 seconds and it was folded, 30 seconds later it was in its bag and put away. No more fears. The pop up tent has been tamed. We still haven’t seen the cat!! Thank you Gemma - You’re a real Gem-ma!! Xx

I have literally sprained both wrists trying to follow the "easy" instructions and bend/fold forcefully without breaking it. Thwacked in the face, dripping with sweat and determined I was gonna get it back in the bag somehow, countless tries later I remembered you tube. I now have hand written instructions with sketches to have in the bag for next time. Cheers girl, you rock!!

Camped in Ireland in August 2017, couldn’t get the bastard back in the bag and had to drive home with it in the back seat, completely obscuring my rear view. Since then it has been sat in the attic in its unpackaged state, until today, hooray! I was still a bit sceptical given that the video did not exhibit the tent being placed in the bag, however i had no issues myself, so kudos!

This video had no business being so unbelievably upbeat and happy, i just ordered my pop up tent and thought id plan ahead and this demonstration has just made my day. Give this woman a raise 😆

I've just rescued a discarded eurohike pop up from our local stream, fixed the breaks in the pole thingy, tent is now dry and I've had a few beers to simulate the condition I will be in when I come to fold this down after the next festival visit. A certain level of drug consumption may also have occurred. I'm in a very cheerful mood and about to attempt the impossible. Wish me luck. Had to watch it again and twenty seconds later it's folded and in the bag. Brilliant!

Thank you! 4 months the tent was shoved into a corner in a half folded state, surrounded by seemingly endless procrastination. Now it's all nicely placed in the bag again!

Bought one of these tents. I threw it like a frisbee and it popped up and was fantastic. Putting it down was krypton factor. We got stuck at the part whereby you had to arch it. This demo was very clear. We have put it back down.

Oh man. Best video EVER!!! Thank you so much. I spent 20 minutes in the hot sun with my girlfriend, trying not to loose my cool because the instructions seemed so vague and didn't seem to work. I watched your video. Watched it a second time. Went outside and folded up the tent and had it back in the back in about 90 seconds! Best instructions ever and so glad I typed in "how to fold up a pop up tent" in Google instead of trying again using the "instructions"... Yay for camping and yay for you Gemma!!

Thank you! First time user. Just bought it Wednesday on a whim (at the grocery store of all places -- I'd been looking for something like this, and there it was.) A 12-year old boy figured out how to fold it in about 20 seconds after I fiddled with it for about 20 minutes this morning. I've folded windscreens like this, but this thing is more involved than those, thought the concept is similar. At any rate, I didn't see exactly what he did. I also didn't have internet access (for videos such as this) and the instructions were .... less than explicit, and not well illustrated. But here's this lovely lass on KZfaq showing me how to do it in a jiff.

Thank you, our tent was a different brand but same design principle. It unfolded too quick for me to get an idea of how to fold it (just exploded forth from my hands) and the manual we got was bloody useless. This gave us the step were were missing and the manual failed to truly show.

My son got a pop up child's tent for Christmas and we obliged when he asked to try it out in the front room. But when it was time to put the thing away... Brilliant video. Just bought a Trespass 200 for my grandchildren to play in and found the printed instructions useless. Spent nearly 30 minutes trying to get the tent down to the right size, to put it back in the bag!! Watched this video a couple of times and 30 seconds later, Ta-Daa..., the tent is back in the bag. Yey for yourself and the aid of youtube!!! I spent 20 mins trying to understand the instuctuons yet can built a three peice bedroom set with no instuctions. Yes. I just got mine and because it's raining outside I opened it I. The living room. Was amazed at how it's instantly a ⛺ tent but when the fold up time came I could only twist it in half. This quick video made life simple. Our last trip I took my 11 and 14 year old daughters and showed them how to raise the first pole dome tent and as I was getting everything else out I had them put theirs up. It had already gotten dark and it was more like a fight than a tent raising. They laughed about it after they had it up but wish we would have had these then.

I must say it’s been a very undignified experience putting my tent away after opening it up in the living room. Solved! I have struggled and failed with these damned things a hundred times.The printed instructuons are always crap. Solving the puzzle was blind luck. Once an 'expert' just viciously bent the wires and handed the broken tent back! In this video, the explanation was crystal clear, and the demo was flawless. I folded and unfolded the one in my hands repeatedly in sheer AMAZEMENT!!

My little tent has very strong metal beams that resist folding and it has listened to me cursing countless times! Every year I have to consult KZfaq to get that thing back into its housing! Your video is the clearest and fastest! Thank you!

Best video so far. I don't have this brand, but a similar (though a bit bigger) tent. So easy to set up, and tons of fun for the kids.....but a total nightmare to put away. I always regret opening it, and have read the instructions and watched dozens of videos, and none of them truly helpful. This video is a whole other story though. When she explains that there should be 2 smaller circles on each side, I was like "aaahhh that makes more sense."😂🤦‍♀️ Anyways, thank you posting this, it's eased so much stress, and my living room is back to it's old self.😅

Helpful vid, thanks Gemma, this makes way more sense than the "illustrated" "instructions" on the label of the tent bag. However, if you have limited dexterity and strength it's not possible to do anything else with it than tear it to shreds and put it in the bin.
