Thank you, sir! My new Xiaomi 12 was only running Pokemon Go at 60fps...and since the game uses 1/2 VSYNC it was running at 30fps. This fixed it right up! Now running at a buttery 60fps.

Thanks, it really works and now youtube is working at 120hz Not only has this setedit app solved the youtube problem but ever since updating to miui 13 with android 12 on the x3 pro, some games (real racing 3) wont even run at 120hz automatically anymore and it is really annoying to go to the settings app and clearing the battery and performance data for it to run the game at 120hz again only to go back to 60hz the next day and the cycle repeats....... Do you have any document on setting registers? I suppose that stops the refresh changes. There would be optimal settings that would allow for refreshing changes when the screen is static, but they force 120 when scrolling. In Mi11 this is the standard only in YT it does not work.

Bro,seems it drops to 60hz in some particular situations 🤔 ive noticed if you are in chat app and sent picture it drops to 60hz but in settings stay its 120hz. Its drops to 60hz to all apps. I notice it because everything looks laggy. Any solutions?

After the latest software update on my Poco F3 this stopped working properly. I got the value to "1" in the SetEdit app and after a few minutes it turns to 60fps across the system. Any idea how to fix it? Maybe a different value?

Hey man, cool video thanks, and manny people sayin it works, but not at me I have a Redmi with MIUI 14 Global...is it kind of different there? I did all the steps, but when im into the App SetEdit, I searched there for the command "user_refresh_rate" I found it, it was on 120, and I set it up to 1 did not worked...but after that, this command dissaprear... strange thing, than I searched for "peak_refresh_rate" that was on 120 aswell, set it up to 1, did not worked... than I created a new command like all of them "peak_refresh_rate" "user_refresh_rate" "min_refresh_rate" set them all to 1, and all on 120, but both methods did not worked, I tryed it out with youtube, and refresh rate showing ON had 60 on youtube with all methods.... any Idea? and do you know why this first command "user_refresh_rate" deleted by them self, after I changed the value from 120 to 1? very strange...

The method works only till miui 12.5 (android 11). I have xiaomi 11i. Set edit worked in my phone smoothly. After I update to miui 13(android 12) chrome and youtube when watching video shifts to 60hz.

I just tried flashing firmware.. It showed error 1.and failed. So i wiped dalvik data cache, then tried.. It failed.. And my phone got formatted. Though my previous rom and kernel were all right.. Can you please make a short video on changing firmware in custom rom. 🙏

Thanks a lot! KZfaq on 60 fps really bothered me. I do have Root but couldn't find a way until now with your video. Note: Some have suggested another way to disable the 60 Hz Limiter, by disabling Battery & performance system-app, but that seems to cause problems btw, so don't disable that system app.

@@munchy_coolfirst it was showing 60 on top left in KZfaq, then I did settings the way you said, then in KZfaq it started showing 120 on top left, but when I play video of KZfaq, it converts back to 60 on top left. I tried playing 120 fps videos of KZfaq as well, they are also playing in 60 hz only
