Really appreciate the tutorial. Was just able to successfully change the bulb out on my edge. One thing I would note, for people do in a similar repair, is that the bulb always needs to be turned in clockwise (from the perspective of looking forward while sitting in the car). Since the demo was showed on the driver side and I was replacing mine on the passenger side, I expected this to be reversed. However that was not the case. So after trying to turn it counterclockwise (again from the perspective of sitting in the car) it gave me trouble. Once I turned it the right way it was pretty simple. Thanks again

Just wondering. My 2011 MKX goes through front turn signals really fast. I change 1 or 2 per year. I actually thought this was a turn signal dead until I went and investigated. Do you have similar issues with turn signals?

What do you think about bulb grease?

I wonder if the housing twists, or is oriented differently on various Edges, because the bulb I pulled out was clocked differently than yours (it was at the 10-oclock locked, and 7 oclock unlocked position. I now can't get the replacement installed correctly for the life of me. This shit is driving me crazy too. I've literally rebuilt engines. I just Sync3 swapped this car yesterday, and the headlights are doing me in. FML. Good video BTW.

My 2013 Edge - Limited has a different bulb assembly, inside the area after you take off the round cover. Even our mechanic couldn’t do it. Says I may have to take it to Ford, which sounds expensive and time consuming.
