Beautifully done! Thanks for this. Just wondered if the cross stitch pieces were blocked beforehand (they didn’t look distorted at all!) . If the fabric is not square can it be blocked (damp stretched?) as you pin it to the foam board? Or would you recommend a two step process? It looked like you were taking great care to ensure the thread in the fabric was parallel to the edge of the foam board to ensure everything lined up.

You could do a two step process. If you got enough experience, you shoot nails directy to attach the cross stitch piece into the frame without any step.

There are already thousands of holes in the cross stitch piece, you can not make any new hole by shooting directly nails on that.

What about spacers for between the glass and the cross stitch to keep the threads from being compressed and the glass from being in constant contact with fabric and threads? I didn't see any used, or if I missed it, what kind were used? Thank you. Very nice job framing other than that.

you could use the plexi spacers, 3/8" or 1/4"

What can I do if I didn't leave a lot of cloth on the edges. I didn't think about it and started super close to the edge, maybe 6 rows in? Will I still be able to frame it?

Yes, you could sew fabric strips around and frame it

use 1/3 of dimension for wiring or 5-6 inches from the top of frame for D-ring

"Yes" and "No", it depends on customer, Yes if Artworks have big value, big memorial gifts....No if Artworks for decoration purposes only....

As much as this is an excellent video showing framing, I would be mortified to see pins an nails being put into a piece of needlework which I had beautifully created. I think I shall continue with the lacing method. This is in no way detrimental to your skillfull framing.
