I find this very useful. There is some big value in watching someone still learning than a pro who makes everything look really easy and then it turns out it's all very hard for you.

I agree with the comments. By filming your actual students I think you've become the best skating teacher online. Definitely made a huge difference for me. Thanks! ...and not a bad promotion for your classes either although I'm sure you have a full schedule already. Anyway I'm gonna go work on my front side kick turns...working up to fs axle stalls and grinds hopefully!

frontside is so much scarier than backside :-) I am also working on those. sadly we dont have a single half pipe or pool around here, only quarter pipes at best.

I almost shouted "YES!" and "WHAT?" a few times watching this video :-) Want to skate right now. Just checked it, it's only 6000 miles including the Atlantic from my home to this awesome skatepark and JBs lessons. I fear I will never be able to skate there and/ or take lessons :-(

interesting to see she is just learning kickturn, but already has great flow around the park, dropping in, fly out, carving. I think it does make sense because kickturns on transition is probably more techinical than those?

Great observation, many people can skate well but struggle in certain areas, frontside kickturns is a big one for many people. She can pump and carve around but struggles to Kickturn especially frontside. I hope this video helps you 💙🛹💙

Really like these real lesson videos. Shows how others are learning the moves and is easier to replicate than looking at how pro's do it ... I wonder how loose your trucks are for skating pools. Do you show this anywhere in a video ?

That bail at 5:51 is how I sprained my left ankle, trying to do frontside kick turns. Any tips on how to bail in that moment? Or, how to avoid being in that situation in the first place, where you end up stepping sideways with your feet? Turn even quicker/harder to your left shoulder, and into the pool?
