This is great! I know of a non-profit that has received several grants for about half the cost of a project that is already underway and 75% completed. They used funds from an unrestricted endowment to cover the costs up front and now are having trouble receiving any more funding since grantors are saying the project is already paid for. Do you have any suggestions on how to go about asking for additional funds so that the money from the endowment stays put and helps to support the organization in years to come?
