Hi there, I didn't apply to MIT for very obvious realistic reasons. I did have a tick on most of the things you need to apply to MIT but I decided not to because MIT is very rigorous. I'm not sure if I am someone who can be into studies that much. I love going out, exploring people and places. I don't regret not applying to MIT. I feel like I'm doing a much better job at TCU with comparatively less competition and fairly same opportunities. I became Secretary of International Students Association, got into IEEE (it's my major related), got into Honors College. I don't think all of this would be possible for a freshman if they're too busy maintaining their grades. Go for a college that satisfies your needs, not necessarily a college every talks about. MIT was not a good fit for me.

@@swarnimakumari5975 no see there's a difference between Indian and American system of education like in india we do mbbs there it's not mbbs it's md/ms so there you first have to do 4 years of undergraduate pre med degree then give the MCAT and then you get to go to medical school unlike in India where you can directly go to medical college after high school.
