It is important to know how you can increase your income because we all want to achieve certain goals or fulfill some dreams before it’s too late. In this video, I have talked about the career paths that can get you a high salary in less time.
Pay raise or salary raise depends on a lot of factors. The most factors are the industry you’re working in and your performance. Many professionals perform well in their jobs and is also reflected in their performance reviews. But they are not able to monetize upon this performance and get the compensation they deserve. I have experience working in consulting which is why I can guide you about how salary increments happen in the consulting profession. The typical path is to go for an MBA and then get into consulting. I have explained what an ISB grad would generally earn in consulting roles after their MBA from ISB. Along with that if someone gets into consulting after the undergrad level then they have an even better chance of making good money in their consulting career.
But if you have missed the boat during your undergrad and haven’t done MBA from a top-tier college then you can still get into consulting. For that, you need to become an expert in a field that consulting firms are working in. Yes, you can get into the Big 4 without a top-tier MBA degree.
