Your opponent missed the queen check on H3 when his knight was on the rim. At worst he would have had your king stuck in the middle and exposed and if you played it wrong lost an exchange

yeah nice I should have been more careful of that. With the Knight of the Rim Qh4+ can meet g3 with the knight sac because of the undefended rook. I just looked at the engine though and because the knight is still on e5 in that line, after Nxg3, you can then play Nf3 to counter attack the queen, it then has to move off the diagonal with the king, then you can move the rook. Crazy line!
