The scheme provides financial assistance to individuals, groups, and micro-enterprises to set up new ventures or extend support to existing ones. The financial assistance is provided through margin money and term loans through Banks/Financial Institutions. Eligibility criteria include being an individual above 18 years of age, a group of individuals, or a registered firm/company. The enterprise should be located in rural or urban areas.
