Hi, it's the same requirements and process for those other than EU or EEA citizens. You are required to apply for a residence permit to live, work or study in Finland first and then it's the same as mentioned in the video. According to Statistics Finland there are 4636 people who have Nepali as a mother tongue.

Hi, thanks for your kind words. Yes, Finland is getting more international everyday. Majority of Finns do speak Finnish, it's also widely used in educational institutions and research. Espoo city in Helsinki region has already declared English as one of its official languages. Debate is ongoing for Helsinki, too. Companies hiring international workforce are growing. Having said that, finding jobs without Finnish language skill is a bit challenging, esp. in sectors that involves direct communication with (Finnish) customers and clients. Besides, like I always say, finding a job involves a lot of factors like your own professional skills, contacts, job search skills, skills to stand out among all other applicants, you know it better I guess, among which language skill is one. I recommend you to try monster.fi, mol.fi, duunitori.fi for your job search. Use the word 'English' in search field for job posts in English.

For studies, if your certificates are in English, no need to certify them. Documents in languages other than English, Finnish or Swedish must be translated and notarized. Certificates like your marriage certificate are to be certified by your government official and also stamped by Finnish embassy in your country.

Hi, yes, the initial A permit is always granted for a year. If in case you change your job, it's highly probable that you will get the extended A permit for 1 year again. If the employer closes the business, you may get unemployment or laid off support from your labour union, if you have joined any. However, you will need to have a job that pays you at least 1252 e/month in order to get an extended A permit. I have seen cases of laid off people that the TE-office gave negative partial decisions, and that means the migri's decision will be negative, too. I recommend you to contact migri for authentic answer though.

Around 10€ is paid per hour in normal work. Then full time work means 160 hrs per month. Then you can calculate yourself. We don’t know how many percent tax you pay.

Hi, in order to get a PR in Finland, you must live here on A permit for 4 years, in addition there are other requirements. I don’t know any ways to switch any other EU nations’ pr to the Finnish one. As you have a PR of Spain, you have n advantage of travelling to Finland to look for jobs without any visa.

If you come to Finland as a dependent to your wife, who is a student, at the same time, then of course, I assume that both of you fulfill the requirement of the 4 years time at the same time. So yes! Hi Sanju, if your wife is coming to Finland as a student, you and your kids can come along on residence permit based on family ties. If you get the permit, you will have a right to work full time.

Hi, yes it is. Only once you get a job, you can apply for A permit. It's a different case if you have a RP based on family ties.

Hi, it's true. But in my opinion, getting a job depends on a lot of things, one's skills, contacts, sector and educational background. For example, there are plenty of jobs in nursing and IT sectors. If you know Finnish language, the chances are better.
