When using a dk 20sp, what should the psi be set on? I tried the 43psi but it cooled to fast and last 4 prints didn't come off. They stayed married to the b sheet. Also, doing the 13x19 sheets should I cut and do smaller sheets instead of the larger sheets?

I just ordered this heat press from your site 🙌🏽. Will like to know what setting do you use for Sure Pressure? I understand it’s light to medium but your exactly pressure will be a great starting point. Thanks!

Hi Deanthony! Thank you for choosing HPN. Essentially, the SurePressure feature is a bookmark of pressures to be used as a reference, however, the numbers on the knob are not universal. Here's a quick video guide as to how the feature works: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r8qXZq1ks9bXeXk.html

I bought the Uninen 560, first some lines problems on the sheet after printing then when finally i got a nice print my other problem was to marry A sheet with B sheet after 320 and 120 secs on the heat press the B sheet takes the toner from A sheet after pressing what would be the problem?

Hello and thank you for this video. It has been very helpful. I just purchased my 650 and am having problems with my image coming out of the printer. It is coming out smeared and with hairline ink sticking out of the actual image. What could be causing that?

This is interesting question will this time of 320 work with the icolor 2step A-B standard paper. Because doing 310 it’s vin leaving some ink on the A sheet on the last peel of. When it’s on the tshirt 🙏

You should probably stick with 310°F for that product. The preheat process is different from this video. iColor actually recommends preheating your lower platen for a full 5 minutes before pressing the iColor 550 Standard 2-step transfer paper. We recommend going over the instructions again to ensure no steps were missed: www.icolorprint.com/resource-library/IColor_Standard_550_800_2Step_Textile_Transfer_Paper_Instructions_ICHTSTD_A_B_550.pdf If you purchased your transfer media from us, please feel free to reach out to our technical support department at (800)215-0894. Otherwise, we recommend contacting your UniNet iColor authorized retailer for support.

How long after you apply the glue is the print good for?
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the transfer paper you're using. In general, the transfers should last for a few months after the A+B marriage when stored correctly. The following is directly from Forever in regards to storing their Forever Laser Dark transfer media: " • Please store the unprinted media away from dust, moisture and heat. • The printed A-Foils can often be stored for several months, when not scratched or bent. • The married transfers can also be stored for longer, when protected from dust, moisture, heat, scratches and bending. • We do recommend to store them in a box or in sealable zip-lock bags"

I tried it few times and all the ink transferred to the adhesive sheet. I tried 60, 90, and 120 seconds the same thing happened. What do you think the problem is? Do I have to wait till both A & B cool down?
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
No, it should be peeled as hot as possible. If necessary, wear gloves to protect your fingers. Also, don't forget to pre-heat the lower platen.

Hello good day. I would like to know if you can help me with a problem that I have with my icolor 550. From one moment to another he began to print with parts or dots that do not have ink (I add the photos) And I would like to know what I can do to get the printer to print well on the sheet again. I've been trying to print several times and nothing. If they have a much better video tutorial...

I have found the marriage process to be fairly easy as long as you follow these instructions. the problem I am having is when I press the transfer onto the shirt, it cracks instantly, or it does not peel off completely. not sure how to correct this issue, residing in las Vegas where humidity is virtually non existent, could this play a role in the cracking, oh! also fails the wash test. after the 1st initial wash the entire image is cracked looks like a screen pressed shirt that has been abused for 10 years. Disclosure I am using a digital heat fx paper , and not sure if its the paper or my climate, or heat/pressure on my heat press.. any advice? Looking for new papers and came across your video, I am a current customer from HPN, here is where I get all my heat press equipment :)
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
With white toner transfers, you want to make sure the transfer is COMPLETELY cool before peeling. If your room is warm, you may even want to use a fan or something to cool them down. As for the wash test, are you rasterizing your graphics? We've found that washability goes way up when you add that step. And if you're working with black tees, using a color removal plug-in to remove all the black in your design helps a ton too. We did a quick video on why rasterization is important: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mrqqhbqZmLeVgp8.html (your RIP might work differently, but the principle is the same)

@@HeatPressNation one more question, I changed my shirt from gildan to district, added humidity, tho the product came out ok, still cracked a little bot not like before, BUT it failed the 1st wash test miserably, it looked like a faded wrinkled paper, my. guess is the current film i am using is not to standards, will your film make a difference after a wash test? I am using a crio 8432, and it came with the starter kit paper from digitalheatfx,

Hey guys! two quick questions is there a certain side that sheet A should be printed on? and then after printed should side B lay on that same side with the grid facing up? for some reason after pressing for me the design ends up on Side B all the ink. Any help super appreciated!
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
With most 2-step transfer media, like Forever Laser Dark, you'll be printing on the soft "frosty" side of the A-Sheet. You'll want the printed image to be touching the plain white side of the B-sheet when pressing them together. Instructions may vary depending on what paper you're using.
@KansasItalianCity
@KansasItalianCity 2 жыл бұрын
how can you if printer getting enough power? could that cause the failed marrying? maybe the printer not powering the fuser hot enough and ink not coming out liek it should? can you increase the white on the A paper? that way its easier to marry? i have tried to marry 80 times and its never 100%, so that makes it a pointless process.
@HeatPressNation
@HeatPressNation 2 жыл бұрын
The adhesive on the B-sheet is very sensitive to temperature. When it's hot, it's very pliable. When it's cold, it's extremely sticky and rigid. The problem with most failed A+B marriages is that portions of the transfer have cooled slightly, which doesn't allow the adhesive to release off the B-sheet and actually pulls some of the print from the A-sheet. Besides the tips shown in this video, there are other factors. If you're using a low-quality heat press, that could be an issue. We recommend using at least an HPN Signature Series or better machine. You also want to make sure you're printing onto the frosty matte side of the A-sheet. Printing on the wrong side will ruin the transfer.
