As a solo I go for the board pretty much immediately. Get the kill and camp on the canopy with blunder bombs until they're out of zone. It's the easiest and quickest way to get wins, almost no supplies needed.

how though? If your boat has a single hole you'll just sink by the time that happens unless you're on the side of the arena to begin with. Feel like it's unrealistic to be in boarding range and consistently get sinks like this without them cannoning your boat a couple of times. edit: also assumes you'll win a 1v1 over and over again which also isn't realistic to happen over a long period of time.

Ngl as somebody who literally almost never solo sloops usually i found out that solo slooping seems to be almost the easiest way to get wins... in duo sloop my mate and i met Spammals, met some guys with Sea of Champion Sails and alot of other sweats with obsidian anchor and stuff whilst solo was mostly pretty casual :D

Rare Employees were not kidding about throwing the fights, they kept their word. Goddamn. Also a side note on sailing others out of bounds: It's a legitimate strategy, and definitely not considered toxic, but it doesn't give the loser any Rep which just feels wrong (in my opinion). Just a heads up.

So, funny story from the other day. I was on a streak when I encountered an evenly matched opponent. Like, so evenly matched the fight took forever. So eventually he signals me down and we share a laugh about the 30 minute long fight we just had. But we agreed that neither of us wanted to keep fighting for another 30 minutes, so we agreed to do a first to 3 deathmatch was the only suitable way to decide who gets to sink who. Luckily I won, but he was a good sport about it and he helped me Sink his own ship

it continues to raise! You saw in this video it's value was at 72k, which is 5 wins. 4 wins will get you 55k :) BUT ITS ALL A GAMBLE YOU KNOW

Another was is to find a like minded player and ask em if they wanna help you ambush a solo sloop even if its a galleon, provided they dont sink ya.

@@ToxieSinclaire Your looking at one here xD if we encounter each other that is i would love to solo team up with you, if its a full crew ask em and they will DEFINETLY do it for a easy win, also can you test something? have your ship pointed at the devils shroud around shores of gold and see if a ship will spawn in it, i've understood how the mechanics of it work, they spawn from 600 to 800 metres away from you and its where your ship is pointing, also another tactic, park your ship pointing the opposite side of a sea fort, you can sink em with the fort cannons.

I believe that trying to force players to spawn in the shroud/shores of gold is an exploit and as piratey as that is, I don't wanna ruin the game mode for people hahaha and yes if you ever see me on the sea's come and say hello!

yeah.. that can be an issue. The time of day you play will affect that. I recommend switching factions if you are having awful matching times.

@@Funny12boy it be like that lmao. So what I did was for like a week, rolled characters while I ate dinner, and I wasn't even sure of the one I have now at the time. You gotta take a little risk when picking, if you think they look good-ish on the IPG, then they will probably like 10/10 once you dress em all up and stuff

losing steaks are tough. I've had my share of them too, and when it happens and you feel frustrated, then you know it's time to take a break. The pvp in this game is tough, but there's no other game like it. Take a break and come back with a fresh outlook :)

Throwing fire at the back can put holes in the sloop over time or at the very least, become annoying. I believe the best place to throw fire bombs for maximum damage on a sloop is near the stairs that go under deck.
