1.- Become aware of what you don't want in life and where you will end up if you continue on your current path. This involves taking the time to reflect on your current situation and evaluate whether it aligns with your goals and values. 2.- Observe the masses and see where mindless action leads. This involves paying attention to the choices and behaviors of others and considering the potential consequences of those actions. 3.- Think deeply and don't just accept what you see on the surface as reality. This involves questioning assumptions and considering multiple perspectives in order to gain a deeper understanding of a situation. 4.- Create a negative vision, or "anti vision," of your future to better understand what you do want in life. This involves taking the time to identify and write down everything you do not want in your life in order to clarify your goals and priorities. 5.- Use negative emotions to fuel your efforts towards achieving your goals. This involves harnessing feelings of anger or frustration in a productive way and using them as motivation to work towards your goals. 6.- Create a plan and strategy for working towards your vision on a day-to-day and week-by-week basis. This involves setting specific, achievable goals and developing a plan for how to achieve them on a regular basis. 7.- Eliminate distractions and negative influences from your life. This involves cutting out people, activities, or habits that do not align with your goals or values. 8.- Create order in your life to prevent decline into chaos. This involves developing routines and systems for managing your time and resources in a way that allows you to make progress towards your goals.

A hot tip I learned last year; Just about the only reason we humans do anything at all is to avoid discomfort. Once you have a goal you're set on achieving, manufacture discomfort into your life that only achieving that goal will remove. I'm in the process of starting a business, and I knew that I would undoubtedly give up on it if I stayed in my relatively comfortable job, so I quit and got an entry level job. It's been 5 months and every day I can't wait to get home and learn something new/ work on my business to escape this reality, but I've never been happier

Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. I had nothing at age 25, my missus had left with my kid and I was insolvent and suicidal. I read 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and made a 7 year plan. I now have a succesful business, 3 houses, no money worries and a happy family life. Basically, all you need to do is write a long term plan (your ideal end game), then a number of short term actions you need to take to get there. And re-read it every week so you dont go off-course. I'll tell you a very simple trick to stay motivated. "Accept that every moment whether good or bad was for only for a little while." So many of us procrastinate thinking of going back to the past moments and reliving it one day as a hero that we never were. Its like that poem that goes No matter where my mind is, My heart is at home, My childhood burried there, Longing for the old days to comeback.

I used to have a 2k euro gaming pc. I gave it away to my sister. All i do now is wake up at 5 am. Go for a run. Work. After work i workout or go boxing. Reading, cleaning house, making social connections. Also i am on nofap, i take cold showers for 2mins every other day. I dont drink alcohol, smoke or use any drugs. I work at saturday most of the weekends. I dont drink anything other than water or fresh juice. Also pay attention to my diet.. its hard to manage all these things and i fail from time to time. All that matters is resetting my brain to its natural state and working on discipline. Become pure and disciplined to achieve greatness

I’ve got two months to find a full time job that’s high paying enough and to move out into my own apartment or I’m screwed. That negative feeling of fear of failure is a strong push for me now. I’ve disappeared but I’m happy! Working two jobs no friends, applied to 25 places in the past week. Telling only strangers my life to get free networking and advice! I will do this!! Two interviews down, only a matter of time for all the energy I put in to this life change to being to bear some fruits…then hundreds of quiet and determined steps later I hope to come back to type that I have my own apartment, and stable income, and working towards the next bigger thing. Never getting too comfortable, but enjoying the journey.

You can not move what is not in your control. No one has control of life.
@RichardHarlos
@RichardHarlos Жыл бұрын
@@D9xAbstract wrote, _"You can not move what is not in your control. No one has control of life."_ One thing I've noticed about online comments is that many of them will focus on a word, but do so _outside of the context_ in which the word was originally used. By changing the context, they then have something with which they can disagree and so... they do just that. However, to change the context of something simply in order to disagree with that something is an error in thinking, aka a 'fallacy'. In this case, it's called a 'strawman' fallacy. Because whenever we change something about the case that another person is making, we turn what they *actually* said/intended into something that the *didn't* actually say/intend. In other words, we 'create a strawman'. And, the utility of creating a strawman is that it's something we find easy/easier to 'knock down' or, in the context of online comments, easier to disagree with. Everything is in our control to some degree. If not at the origin, then at least at some point along the way. I cannot stop the process of phytosynthesis in a plant, and I cannot stop the sun from emitting light. However, I can build a structure that shades some plants in my area of influence such that they don't get any light from the sun. And, when I deprive the plants of sunlight, they cannot perform photosynthesis. So, as you now see, many things are within the sphere of our _indirect_ control, even though we may not be able to _directly_ control certain processes or states of being. And that also relates to the 2nd part of your comment: while no one has control of life, as in every minute detail of life overall, there are some aspects of life that apply to our experience that we do have control over. If not direct control (plants doing photosynthesis, sun shining), then often indirect control (building a structure that blocks the sun's light from particular plants within our sphere of interest/control). You are more capable of influencing large systems than you can possibly imagine. Look for why this is true, rather than for why this is false, and you will find what you seek.

The constant drive for problem solving, the constant drive for becoming a better version of myself, the constant drive for learning something my brain says I cant do, and the constant drive to provide the best life for my family by any means nessasary. This is amazing advice. I have never thought about such a thing called "Anti-Vision" or contemplating about the things that you don't want to happen in your life, because I was too stuck up in the grand scheme of things and the stuff that I actually want to achieve and attain in my life and most of it is actually just good and that's what I mostly journal and write about, but now that I know that anti-vision and thinking about the things that you don't want to happen in your life has made it even more easier for me to stick to moving towards the best path, which is the path that I've inevitably chosen and not the path that will lead me astray and make the worse of me (e.g. Playing video games, not exercising, wasting my time on short-form mindless content, and being so poor that I can't even provide for myself nor my family.)

I wonder about this, should I read or should I play PlayStation. Reading isn't as hyper entertaining as PlayStation. But I know tomorrow morning I might just be looking forward to playing PlayStation rather than being present and focusing on my work(when it's time to work). The other thing is, reading isn't going to be enough to take a load off(reading is still work, to some extent). In conclusion, would it be a good idea to overstimulate yourself with something like PlayStation after you've done your work. I'm asking because I don't want to buy a PlayStation and do the experiment, to find out.

## Lessons - Become aware of the things that you don’t want 1. Not to be unhealthy and unathletic anymore 2. To not waste time anymore 3. Not be a part of the common mass 4. Lack of money to ever be a problem in my life - It’s easier to know what you don’t want than to know what you want just from mindless imagination 1. Not be part of a monotonous cycle ( whether a 9 to 5 pvt. job or a gov. job) 2. Not to be fat anymore (short term). 3. Not to be academically poor. 4. Have general awareness. - Do not be a victim of entropy 1. Do not let the entropy take control of your life. Plan your days and weeks ahead of time. 2. Become aware of the things that are holding you back. May it be people, apps etc.. (roaming around the campus aimlessly ) , ( using reddit all day) , (completing syllabus at the last day) 3. You need energy to prevent entropy ( especially mental energy) to actualize or manifest that vision - Disappear 1. Disappear from unnecessary things 2. Stay from from bad influence 3. Stay away from bad habits. 4. In short pull the band aid off. Just do it ✔. - Prioritizing long term success and mastery is the origin story 1. Go to the Gym daily 2. Spend at least 2 hrs. in the library. 3. Read newspaper (editorials) daily.

My biggest wish in life. Unironically. And im not some edgy teenager. Im a 30+ year old adult is: Being jobless at home and playing videogames the whole day. Period. People constantly tell me "No thats not what u really want" "No thats just running from reality" "Thats just a substitute for doing something meaningfull, which is what you really want" How do you know? Literally... how do you know? Can you read my mind? Im HAPPY in this. Yes. I know you cant rly believe it... but this fullfills me. It makes me truly happy. And its not that i dont know "the other side". Im from a very rich household in one of the richest countries on earth. And while i have to admit... i really really enjoy traveling to japan and being a weeb (annoying anime-fan) there. Its literally the only thing in life, next to anime-figurines... which i need money for. I dont enjoy: Friends Relationships Working Being "successfull" in a way normies define it I do enjoy: Enjoying all those big awesome new JRPGs Enjoying all those big awesome new tv shows and animes/mangas Doing these while everyone else is (from my pov) "wasting" their life by doing some wagie jobs until they come home tired at evening and watching netflix Going to Gym daily and workout (i truly enjoy this tho) Yes. I know this is not really understandable for "Normal" people. I HATE to socialize. I have literally 0 interesst in relationship or sexual activity (i had sex, but i honestly just found it absurdly boring), im REALLY not interessted in a love relationship at all... such a person would only horrible annoy me over time. I love being alone and doing what i want the whole day while everyone else is waiting for weekend And yes... even if you give me billions, even if i would had endless money, a private jet, cars, alot of good friends and waking up tomorrow with 4 girls naked next to me.... i would go insantly back to my NEET-Life. I would kick out any other person out of my villa, the friends, the girls... and do big gaming rooms for myself, rooms full of anime figurines etc. And then... i would just continue playing videogames the whole day. (alltho, i WOULD go 3 months to japan every year with that amount of money, but this is basically rooted on the very same interessts (Games and Animes)) So this is not "because i lack options" or "im too tired to do effort"... this is WHAT I WANT. My ENDGOAL of life. And im extremly happy with it However..... The country i live in is kinda a double-edged sword for this. It DOES pay well, even if your unemployed. But everything is time-limited and full of control when it comes to gettin wellfare-money So my biggest problem in life is: I need to become successfull...... to get the money i want..... to drop everything and living unsuccessfull without being bothered...... its dumb. My "anti-vision" i want to avoid at any cost is literally "working" or "having a job"... there is nothing i despise more. Which kinda contradicts my positive vision in a way i dont rly can attend it. Its horrific.

Hey, I get the intention behind these tips and I agree with some of them, but by own experience I think some of the recommendations are sort of contradictory. On the one hand, you say we're supposed to use negative emotions as fuel, then we must "disappear" to avoid feeling like sh*t. However, entertaining negative emotions actually makes us feel like sh*t regardless of how we wish to channel them. From my point of view, rather than creating an anti-vision it's much better to focus on appreciation and on the end result of what we truly wish to become. Negative emotions, as strong as they may be, only create more negative emotions when we bring them to life. If you found a way to use them as further motivation, good for you man. It's like playing with fire or dangerous chemicals. I don't think most people will be able to achieve this level of control. They are barely able to live with themselves, all due respect. It's always safer and more effective to bet on appreciation and purpose.

Just a little idea about disappearing/cutting out bad habits: If you try to cut out all of your bad habits at the same time you'll feel overwhelmed. What I'd recommend is that you cut them out one by one. Like building a habit. You can't start a bunch of new habits at the same time. Do one habit for a month and stick to it. Then try a new habit the next month. You can also do this with cutting out bad habits out of your life.

mn37 yes because quiting a habit uses some of the pool of willpower, so quiting one bad habit at a time or installing 1 good habit at a time will use less of the willpower pool, meditation is also good for replenishing willpower reserves,

My rule of thumb is that when you can spend the majority of your time thinking about what you want, you are already on top of the mole hill. It's when you have that burning sensation & are unable to flow that you need to start thinking about becoming an expert or an elite. Why maneuver when you are happy. We maneuver when we are being burned. A lot of my delayed gratification strategies came to me when I was happy. Their applications came when my happiness was threatened.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. SO TRUE! I’m 25 and I started this journey when I was 18 after quite literally being kicked out of highschool. I had to face my self. If you are at rock bottom, you are actually in the best position of your life, an opportunity. I took the opportunity and when I tell you I’m years ahead of people ate my age, I’m not kidding!

@@doxo9597 many ways; after studying health for years, I eat very healthy, cook most of my meals, good shape, say NO to toxic cycles, pettiness, etc than my peers. I also grew up in what is akin to an alcoholic family, so I have studied CPTSD (which I have), narcissistic abuse, family dynamics in abusive homes, etc. This has helped me STEER CLEAR of partners that i WOULD HAVE picked and did choose to date in the past. It has also SAVED MY LIFE, because most of my family is still in the vicious abuse cycle. I also studied and still study the science behind the mind and reality in general, which has put me years ahead of others in terms of my thinking patterns (which dictate much of your life). I will say I was prone to learning all this stuff because I was abused, but I wouldn't change a thing as it continues to mold me into who I am! Even if you just change how you THINK, and that can be a hard habit to break if you are a negative thinker, you will be astonished at how different you are from most people and how your life WILL change. I hope I answered your question :)

@@ChristianAguilarr Yes of course. I just answered the other person too in great detail! I have been on this journey for like I said, 5+ years now. I would definitely recommend that you STAY OUT of negative friend groups and AWAY from negative people if you can help it. We are greatly susceptible to other peoples thoughts, feelings and actions and you do become who you are around if you aren't conscious about it. They also may become pissed off if you start changing without them and drag you down (this happened to me). Don't become addicted to the news, or doom scrolling, or pornography. The biggest thing that has changed my life was first changing how I think. You must change your subconscious thinking however, as it is more powerful than your conscious mind. You can do this by visualizing every single night. Theres a bunch of videos on how to do this, but I recommend "Change your thoughts, change your circumstances!" by you are creators on KZfaq. This will take a while, but dont give up. Secondly was my health. Mental, physical and emotional health. You can change your thinking, but what is important too is to heal any trauma that has happened to you. You have to feel it to heal it. Write it down, get it out of you. Talk to someone. Integrate your dark side into your bright side. Dont shy away from it, but make sure you heal. Traumatic events shape our subconscious thinking, because they are highly charged emotions, and those are what shape your thinking! Start giving your body the proper nourishment. I only eat whole foods, NO processed foods, no sugary ass chemical drinks. Go on a detox, get all the bad stuff out of you. Hydrate. Exercise, etc. You don't have to be perfect, but do what you can. Anyways, that should give you enough for a few years :) also, just start reading as much as you can on improving your life. Read the classic self help books. Make it a priority. ONE THING I WILL SAY,...DON"T get so caught up in improving yourself that you never feel good enough. Know that you ARE good enough already. cheers!

negative emotions ARE bad when you let them control you and that’s exactly what you are recommending we do. always having negative emotions like anger guide you everyday is NOT GOOD

The video game analogy has always been one of my favorites. Growing up playing rpgs and stuff. Once I got to a point where I literally started looking at life as the ultimate simulation and treating my body as my avatar, life became fun again.

I love what you said about using negative emotions. As an actor, one of my favorite lessons is that everything works when it’s true. A beautiful performance comes from embracing and leaning into whatever comes up because the rawness of the truth will be the thing an audience can latch onto, even if they can’t fully place it. One of my favorite practices is to channel a destructive habit into something that works for me. The fact something destructive becomes habit is because there is something in it that inspires continued action, even if not in the realm I may want. So digging deeper into the cause of the negative action can reveal an inherent need that can be retooled into something enriching. This nailed the subscription for me. Loved the video game analogy video you made too!

This is great! I'm an artist and I used to draw in cafes and people would say, "I wish I had your talent." I used to tell them that it's not talent. That it's years and years of practice to get good. They would never believe me. Someone even once said, "Where did you train?" I said "KZfaq" and again they didn't believe me. So now I say I studied in France with the great Yusef Tubay.

Big fan of the shorter videos that plant a quick, concise message like the awareness theme this one. Counterintuitive theme of leaning into what I don't want first is critical to charting my course in the opposite direction. Shorter videos like this one I equate to short chapters in a book that allow me to think on and digest the content prior to immediate application of the message in this video as a prime example

Merry Christmas! Yes, please keep ‘em coming! I fully resonate with your vibe and content and it confirms and clearly defines key realizations I am having like almost in real time. It’s epic, and it really really helps me to keep my mind focused in the right direction. So, if you can make short videos every week, that would be awesome! Hearing your voice and guidance is profoundly inspiring, grounding and motivating, and 100% in line with my intentions. 🙏🏽

I love both the short and the long videos. I think we definitely need both to help us in leveling up in our journey this year. We can watch these kind of short videos for a quick mental boost or motivation and then the longer ones work when we are slacking and need a huge smack on the face :)
