Great video! I have the exact same bag!! Was super excited to use it, however I did wait the 3 days and than sprayed the bag. I was soooo nervous cause one of the chaps stood what seemed to be soaked, which I didn’t soak the bag but for some reason stood wet! I was so nervous, however it started drying up over the minutes, and eventually dried to normal within 5 min. I also was on the fence about spraying my luggage tag that I just got hot stamped to go on my never full but I bit the bullet and did it! So glad I did. Great informative video! Thanks

I’m scared to put any leather products on my vachetta. I’ve done the baby wipes but haven’t done it on any of my new pieces. I’ll try to sun exposure for sure tho.

We don't have apple garde in the UK so what alternative would you recommend ?

Does the apple guard stop the bag from getting a nice patina color over time? I just got a Speedy 30 and its SUPER light. I want it to get a nice even color but want to use the Apple Guard but am afraid it will prevent it from getting darker..

Hi, when you said seven days for the entire process what do you mean? i counted 5 lol. Three days for the tanning. One day for apple guard with one hour in between and 24 hrs to wait before using the bag, what did i miss? Also, AFTER the three months you said to repeat the process, did you mean tanning again for three days plus apple guard or jus the apple guard? ty great video!

Yea G 3 days of tanning, then apple guard on the 4th day, then leave it alone for 2 days after that, then you can use it on the 7th day. :)

You can apply the apple garde first then expose it to sunlight for at least 5 days. My sister just got her neverfull in the monogram and I suggested she do the same. It rains a lot where she lives ☺️

Martha Duarte It didn’t do anything to the canvas. Eventually I just stopped using the paper towels altogether and just sprayed it on the leather, sometimes covering a bit of the canvas. But no issues so far. 💕
