In this video I show you how to get around Chicago using the Divvy Bike Sharing system, with everything you need to know to start riding.
If you're visiting Chicago this is part of my travel guide series and is also aimed at those living in Chicago.
The Divvy Bike system is simple to use. It's owned by the Chicago Department of Chicago and managed by Lyft, the ride sharing company.
With over 600 stations and 6,000+ bikes in the Divvy bike sharing system, it provides a convenient and zero-emissions way of getting around the city.
This is a Transportation & Biking guide to Chicago, from a local living in Chicago.
Chicago has a decent amount of bike lanes all around the city.

Great video Luis. I am a Divvy user for more than 4 years. The system is not really zero emissions. I was disappointed to see that batteries don't get recharged. They are swapped manually by people driving gasoline cars all over town!

Thank you! Yes, last year the city ran a pilot for electric scooters and they are coming back in August!!

If I get the annual. And I use the by for 45 min how long should I wait for that to rest and I can do another 45mins free that same day?

You only have to wait 15 seconds after returning a 45 minute bike!

Great video thanks for sharing . See its a front hub motors are the best. I've got front hub kit on my giant . seriously we need no more gas burning man slaughter vehicle intoxicating drivers on the road they belong locked up..
