Here's a tip for someone without bad friends or a second console: Reverse boost until you get in bad lobbies, then send friend requests to the random bad players. When you join their games, send more friend requests to the bad players in those games, and so on and so on. Been doing this since MW2019.

Great video, the story at the start had more entertainment value than 99% of all cod related contented the past year or so

Im not a fan of SBMM and I'm also not a fan of streamers or content creators abusing this, but the devs makes them do it. I understand why they'd do this...but the bigger issue is that the S in SBMM doesn't stand for skill...it stands for success. The more successful you are over time, the more the game punishes you. The problem is, it doesn't punish you by making you face more skilled players, it makes in game mechanics play against you (artificially bad latency, damage is broken -hit markers for you, one shots for them-, footsteps can be heard accross the map), while also pairing you with feeders for teammates. SBMM would be fine if it wasn't success based matchmaking. I am genuinely not upset when i get out skilled or their team just played better. But it's when you lose fights you know you should have won, but the game forced you not to...that's when i rage.

No lie this is how I got my camos for riot shield back in MW2019. My son plays and these are his lobbies lol. He generally plays with other kids, so once I got the riot done I stopped, didn't want to ruin their fun.

Sooo, "smurfing" that's what this is called. Either way, my problem is NOT SBMM, team balancing is what kills me in the algorithm; if the game wants to put me in the same skill-level matches, make sure that teammates are in the same level as well. As always, keep up the good content!

i think once you hit level 50 you should unlock a non sbmm lobby mode where anyone with it off can queue in the same matches

Cod 4, the original MW2, WAW are all goated and I think a big part of that was no SBMM. I don’t understand how someone can like getting wrecked by a whole team. Without SBMM there might be 1 or 2 good guys on the other team but you still had the entire rest of the team you could get kills. I’m trying to play video games not try out for a SWAT team

My issue with SBMM is they prioritise skill over connection, there should be an element of SBMM but ping should take priority. I miss the days that we could just stay in a lobby when we found a good one 😑

I'm all for mixed skill lobbies. Connection should be prioritized over skill matching. Sometimes you get an easy game sometimes you get a hard game, same as with SBMM but you actually want to improve. Purposely getting into games where you know everyone is low skilled is just kind of scummy though.

I have to be honest. I hate SBMM ... but even if you play such rounds, you only play with bad players and not with a mixed skill level. The old cods were so fun because you played against better and worse players. The mix made it so great. Great video keep it up bro

To add onto the video, it’s a lot easier to get in to a fresh pre-game lobby using split screen set up. Have two controllers and your primary controller. A total of three controllers, have the two bots join party and then proceed to find a lobby. You’re almost guaranteed to get into a pre-lobby match, compare it to a single bot account most of the time you’ll be sent into a washed match which isn’t going to work. When you have two bot account split screen finding a lobby wait for that sweet number of 11/12. Join in quickly and boom have fun.

Here's the problem with sbmm, you do well you go up, its harder but you do well again Go up, decent challenge Go up, it's just a curbstomp but you were positive and had a decent kd You go up and fight sweats you didn't even think existed and go 6 and 28 Then you go down to a level where ygo 27 and 3 Then you go straight back up to the sweats, it's honestly just a yes or no button whether you're going to have a good match because you can't have 2 good matches in a row

I thought we had “ranked” modes in games that defeated the need for SBMM. Ranked, or CDL in MW2, should absolutely have SBMM. Public or social lobbies should NOT have any behind the scenes algorithms determining your enemies and team mates. I understand it was made with good intentions, but all it really does is punish solo players and forces you to team up with other good players. What I don’t understand is when you have a full lobby of good players, you rarely match enemy teams of similar skill. They’re usually a bunch of bots and it defeats the purpose of teaming up in the first place. I see this in a lot of games and it just shows me time after time that SBMM is a flawed system and they need to try something else.

What people forget about SBMM is that at least CoD's version of it doesn't even protect your local low level player. The only group of people it "protects" are the ones who can't move and shoot at the same time on a controller, which isn't even working all that well on their end either, evidently. This isn't even an issue with other games and genres with SBMM in them, it seems to just be an Activision thing.

Too much work for me. 😏 I thought I had Casual enabled in the party options (some say it makes no difference), but maybe I didn't. I was shooting people in the back 4 or 5 times point-blank with a shotgun and they weren't dying. Not quite related, but later on I went up against players with well over 100 kills in a single round in Shipment. Thought they were hacking and said to myself there was no way someone was getting 9 or 12 straight kills in Shipment without dying. Then found out you can switch to score-based scorestreaks, do those high-level scorestreaks were getting them all of those kills.

Best rb method everyone else says get no kills but that’s not successful

sbmm CAN be good, for example think of handicapped players, but it should be a seperate playlist

if you have mw2 on steam to use another account you can link a fresh account or any account really to yours and play your games on that other account without having to buy the game again you can do it up to 5 different accounts i think

I got out the shield today. Never used it. I hate the shotguns and the shield. Always have. I just ran around hitting people with it. K/D took a big hit. Don’t care anyway. I’m usually a 2.5 or higher. Anyway, I was put in lobbies with COMPLETE NOOBS who didn’t have a clue how to play. It was fun just smashing them. It got me a high K/D after a few games like this and put me back in the hard chargers category. VERY different game play. Noobs were much more fun and the game was a much slower pace. Very relaxing. So, playing like shit really does help. Who knew? Haha.

I think the concept is interesting but kind of messed up doing that to people who just want to chill after there 9 to 5 and have 4 kids and play in there room at night.

I mean, I'm sure this method works, but this method is not worth it if you are not a content creator imo. I only have a few hours to play this game every day and I don't think it's worth it to throw away a significant amount of time pretending to be a bot to get lower lobbies. SBMM is here to stay, I'm sure everyone here hates it, but in the end it keeps the player count high on this game. If you play normally you'll still get a few game where you can pubstomp and having those games is very rewarding. Of course you'll also get pubstomped from time to time by lvl 250, mastery camo demons, but just back out if you're not having a good time. Thank you for listening to my ted talk.

Have you been able to continue using this method with the season 2 reloaded update? They've added a session que when trying to join a friend that's already in a lobby regardless if it still has open slots. I haven't had any success joining in on a lower kd friend's lobby with this new change.

So basically you want no challenge and just want to jump into a match with a bunch of noobs so you can get easy kills I myself don't necessarily think this is the best call of duty but I can still enjoy the game for what it is and still rack up some high kill counts without tricking the game into putting me in lobbies with noobs

I always knew that activision does this. Tho my theory was if lets say my KD is 1.5 and my mate is sitting at 0.75 then cod will take the avg and throw u into that server.

If u spend say an hour playing like a bot to get bot lobbies then when u go to ur main account to ruin kids days, u can play 1 game before ur kd goes way up and then you’re back to versing sweats

I’m gonna say even though this is old, the whole joining a lower account when they’re in the lobby thing isn’t needed. I have a 1.3kd and I play with my dad a lot, he isn’t so good, like 0.5 kd, if he hosts and I join him, then he searches, the lobbies are easy. Is it unfair to the people actually of that skill level? Yes. But it just shows how flawed SBMM is, so I’m not bothered lol.

This doesn’t seem to work with Season 2 reloaded with their new party system.

It looks like a win for activision to me. Because you need to have 2 accounts and pay two times for the game.
