I can confirm Minimum Distance Between Castles is a factor even with your own castles. I built 2 close to each other and was prevented from placing borders adjacent the ones of my neighbouring castle. Very bad if you don't want someone flying down in bat form!

A question, Once you create a private server is it not possible to go back and change the setting? The only thing it seems I can do is look at the settings.

You can edit the settings file like you would a normal server but you can not do it in game.

Don't do it bro, it will take away of those moments when you do beat the boss with only a few pixels of health left. Adapt and overcome them.

increasing refinement rate also increases how fast you drain blood essence from castle heart inconsequently. insanely fast so i recommend not touching that

Carefull that you actually can bug the game at tailoring, because 0 resources. Just to know you will can't craft late game mats.

I was having fun playing around with this when I loaded into the private server, but as soon as I leave the game to go do something else, it won't let me back in. All it would say is, "server timed out" or connection failed. How can I get back into the private game?

I used the exact same settings as shown in the video and it only works with building the castle. Soon as you want to craft gear for free its not happening... Also many of the crafting benches are not available. They only become available if you beat the V Blood carriers...

he didnt change crafting cost rate thats why - you can edit your settings in local save location

Is there a way to make a bigger castle? or is max always 250?

You can get it up to 255, anything past that and you won't be able to launch the save file through the client. Only real option is to have multiple hearts and connecting them to each other. But 250 is probably more than enough for 1 base imo.

@@him8848 IMO 250 is enough if you want to actually play the game. But, if you just want to be creative and build the best beautiful castle you can imagine then only 250 is an annoyingly small limitation.

@@_LunarDragon Agreed. But unless they changed it in the background, there is no way that I could find that you could go above the 255 limit. The savefile kinda messes up the game if you try to go above it, so you will have to find a creative solution to it. Or you could look into it yourself, I'm no expert at this
