How To Get Custom Songs On Quest 3 Beat Saber With Just Your Phone!

3 ай бұрынIn this vid, I will demonstrate how to mod your Quest 2, Quest Pro and Quest 3 with just your phone.
This method also works with a PC and Mac as long as you have Google Chrome installed.
You will need Debug/developer mode for this method to work.

Plug your headset into your phone, tablet or PC then go to this website.

Follow the prompts and install your mods. Do not disconnect your headset.
Super easy and takes about 10 minutes to complete.

This is great! I literally bought a new Quest 2 the beginning of the month to play custom Beat Saber songs. Unfortunalty, when i got home I was unable to get the methods available at the time to work. I'm super excited to try this out when I get home.

Hello, it's me again, I have a problem. Because I wanted to connect my goggles to my laptop, but it won't let me because of my graphics card. It tells me that a graphics card driver update is required to configure the device, but I know it means full PVCR but I just want to connect it as if from the phone. Can this be fixed? or do I just have to wait for another way to get custom songs? or is this simply an update to the graphics card (I don't know how and this is the first time I've heard that you can update the graphics card) and not a purchase of a new one? because I don't know much about such things and I'm afraid of messing something up out of stupidity.

I’m thinking you are taking about the meta pc app? I tested this as well, you could ignore or do what I did and uninstall the app while you mod beatsaber then reinstall afterwards if you need the app.

Its a super duper "lite" version of modded beat saber. Think of it of this method for strictly custom songs. This is due to there being no up to date versions of other mods. This can 100% be done on a pc following along. Just use chrome and go to the link in the description. There will be other mods as time goes on but the modding community hasnt created them yet.

i tired this and the sfx became weird and i’m hearing a lot of static. the sfx for slashing boxes became staticky. tried uninstalling and even factory resetting but didn’t work. does anyone know how to fix it?

@@BearskiVR just this one. i followed the video to a T. so i made a developer account then i enabled debug. went to that website on my mac (i had to download google chrome cause it won’t work on safari) connected my quest 2 via usbc to usbc then clicked mod now. the slashes sound different than before. it feels not solid if that makes sense.

You would need to move the song file into the playlist. cx file explorer or a pc is needed.

I turned on developer mode I triple checked, I went to setting and changed it to connected device back and forth, and it still says no compatible device found. I think the wire is fine. I’m sad :( I used to have mods for beat saber and I removed them to play new songs but then meta came with the update that you can’t access files due to privacy. Help me pls 😭

@@BearskiVR Couldn't link my android meta app for some reason, had to use developer mode on my dads iPhone, had taken one step too many and already downgraded my beat saber so had to reverse that, the android closed and the password stopped working so my dad had to do some fancy stuff with it to fix it, but after all that it works (yippee!!!) and I BEAT ADHD FIRST TRY (YIPEEEEE) so thanks Bearski!

I have one issue, every time i try to download beat together and the other multiplayer one it just doesn’t work and if i try to delete small mod like trick sabers it just doesn’t delete it. (btw i downloaded the mods from your how to download custom songs to beat sabers [no pc] working in march 2024 video)

Those are v1.28 mods. They have not been updated to 1.36 yet. This is such new method that it essentially only has custom songs. Other mods will come in time.

Currently not available with this method. The modding community is working on the various updates but no eta on any of them. Qosmetics is confirmed to be working and will have a public release at some point in the future.

Hey mate, its due to meta pushing an update created by android/google. Broke modding using standalone for everyone. You could either use this guide or my pc guide. The pc guide has access to all the mods. This phone guide is just if you want custom songs.

Three choices, Pay to join redbrumbler Patreon and get the mod there. Wait for the mod to become publicly available (no eta) Use a PC to downgrade to v1.28 and mod beat saber.
