With the release of Inkborn Fables, we got to play with some amazing traits. And fortunately for us, the developers of TFT did not forget to include a handful of chase traits! But compared to previous sets, they are definitely harder to achieve in Set 11. But why, you might ask? Well, in Runeterra Reforged, they were so powerful, and most importantly, easily achievable with the likes of trait-specific augments and tomes, that Riot had to nerf them to the ground in almost every patch (or B-patch...). Remix Rumble was a little better in that regard, but the lack of trait augments made it so hitting a chase trait came down to hunting spatulas on the carousel. But with trait-specific augments coming back in Set 11, Riot made a change that not many players seem to know about. It made achieving chase traits more difficult, but today I will show you how to get every Emblem in the game that you want!

A noteworthy thing to point out is that for the 10 slot traits like mythic, because headliner doesn’t exist to give you an extra stack, you have to hit level ten, get a tacticians crown, or get an extra board slot some other way. I think this is the hardest part to hitting prismatic traits this season

You can still hit at lv9 with wandering trainer/sentinel though. 90% of the time that’s how I’ve seen people hit 10 traits this set

from my experience 10 fated and 10 mythic don't even win vs regular boards which just doesn't make sense. this heavenly player can just play tempo whole game and not worry about anything while i gamble 7th or "1st" by trying to reach lvl 10 when lowkey being down 2 items (fated emblems) and having to hold fated units for later. i've hit 2* everything, had decent items on the important units and still lost to a regular heavenly lvl 9 board...

@@avespring 10 story 'is a different story' tho. you need 3 emblems. and yes, this one is like unbeatable unless 3* legendary (or 9 fortune i imagine). if anything, i think 10story could be a little tuned down, if someone hits it, even 2 3* 4costs won't save you. this is just sad for other people lol

@@thatguy5233 I highly doubt that 10 fated loses to anything other than 3* 5 cost or multiple 3* 4 costs. It has an average place of 1.25, 98.2% top 4 rate, and 85.7% win rate. Also sounds like you didn't hit fated 10, since fated 10 you need 3 emblems.

Hi Leduck, I discovered a nice bug with trash to treasure which could interest you. When you have a tactician's crown and you reforge it with another item, you get 2 ornn artifacts but the tactician crown's effect of +1 is still in effect. In other words, you get an ornn artifact for free. Hope you can make a nice video out of it. Cheers.

A pattern I noticed, for the times that the reforger was consumed, the emblem was the last item actually given to the champion. the exemptions being when you ran out of space on your bench and when it gave you two artifacts instead of one artifact and an emblem. don't know how conclusive this observation is but it's something to consider

What does 9 fortune do exactly? I've seen people say it does something but in the tool tip of the trait it says it stops at 7

The ‘fortune tree’ that keeps track of your fortune stacks goes onto the board, has a ton of health, and just shits out tons of gold during combat

Crafted emblems can be completed from two components, so the interaction turning them into artifacts works as written, though maybe not as intended.

I tried the trash to treasure thing once in a game of double up and reforged an infinity edge + altruist emblem. It destroyed the reforger, so it seems that the completed item + elusive emblem theory is wrong (unless somehow double up is bugged differently). This was on the current patch just in case.

Is this also the case without emblems? I reforged 1 completed + 2 artifact and lost the reforger the other day, but I had a full bench.

Hey leduck! Great video, as usual! One thing I'm not quite sure: You mentioned that your current board is important in the augment selection. Does this also account for the first Augment you receive in 2-1? Also considering the rerolls, I had in mind that the first Augments always are random and are not considering currently active traits. Is this wrong? :)

you can't tailor the first augment, otherwise it would be too op, for example, you hit aphelios and thresh from an orb, and then you get fated, that is at least top 2

It's explained in video that the 3 item reforge with elusive emblem is not consistent and only 1 elusive emblem + 1 crafted item has worked for me so far

One thing i just recently noticed, when given Wandering Trainer 1 as a choice, you’ll always get both emblems that matches your active trait, say i was running 2 sniper 2 warden, i chose wandering trainer so that i could play something else but ended up getting both warden and sniper emblems instead.

Heya Leduck, just found a Crownguard bug. If you have Crownguard on an unit with the augment Crownguarded and then upgrade said unit to 2* or 3*. Then the Crownguard effect (both Shield and increase AP) will proc 2 times for that round only. So if you have 3 Crownguard you will get a 315% HP Shield and 367 AP after the shield break

On PBE the Augment Crownguarded was bugged for a while now, giving way too much stats. Would have to check if I can replicate your Bug once the new patch hits live server

@@leduck yeah I got that bug multiple times now and again just today and was only for one round. And only after I upgraded Sylas to 2* so pretty sure that was it

@@leduck I just hit the augment again recently. And it actually seem like the Crownguard with Crownguarded would bug out for 1 round when putting on a new unit. 2* also work if the one getting upgraded is the "new" champion. Sadly I don't have the Golden Remover to test it out, could be something gamebreaking

I once used trash to treasure on a Tactitians Crown and an Artifact and both turned into new Artifacts, but I did not loose the extra slot.

Hey Leduck, at 6minutes you are saying the reforger is broken, but there's an orb on the ground How can we know the reforger didn't go there to the orb on the ground because your bench was full? It would have been better evidence if we checked the orb after you put items on your units on bench

setup was artifact + completed item + component if i recall correctly, just wanted to swap bad items and component, and lost it, i dont recall what was the outcome after the reforging but it went away.

This is just some weird interaction just like in the vid, complete item with emblem sometimes give back reforge sometimes does not

However putting in a component always cause you to lose your hammer, you can try but the results r still the same ( after all a component is not an item lol). The tooltip always say the least, like to every augments fr

It’s a 40% execute, which is only equal to around a 55% damage increase. The main value is definitely in the extra loot

This might be my confirmation bias but Branching Out does not seems to be random for me In the times ive saw it picked,its always a)Sage/Dragonlord/Altruist or b)a trait that can be activate within yout comp

@@sagittariusa2145i would assure this morr but Branching Out can only be offered at 2-1 or 3-2 at which you ca have very little trait active,most of the time at 2-1 i had like 3 total active traits and its always one of the 2 above situation i get the 6-8/whatever ammount of eblems in the game rather consistent
