One thing that was taught to me is that if your ROF is lower than the opponent, swap it out for dodge instead. I was able to break through a few choke points using this method and got to 10-x before level 70.

@@ugou7380 rof is rate of fire. If someone has a higher rate of fire them the other. All their units get to attack before any of the units with a lower rate of fire. Dodge gives a chance to "Dodge" attacks. However it's not a full dodge. Instead it greatly reduced damage. Most people seem to agree it reduces damage by 90% with a successful "Dodge"

@@ugou7380 ROF - Rate of fire - With a higher ROF you can sometimes hit the enemy 2x before they hit you. Higher/faster fire rate = more damage. Dodge is the ability to dodge their hits. High dodge = less hits from the enemy.

@@chrisjamessfsd After being stuck, it's amazing to breeze through levels where the enemy doesn't use High-ROF! But I've been testing which skill gives a slight advantage, and HP+12% seems to beat Dodge+10% and March+4 when they do use a superior HRoF.

Thanks for the advice! Finally have all levels completed using Navy only with Bassel/914 or Bassel/Yuu pairs. Yeah, still only have a 2hm, but upgrading to the purple cruise missiles as the last purple really helped take out the last boss level and complete the quest.

I haven't made purple equipment yet, but I worked on my 2nd march's (Army) Suppressions because I was stuck a long time against Air Force in 9-4. Today I made a green Inspection Hatch, which did the trick after temporarily transferring my blue chip from navy to army! I'm still farming High-rate of Fire level 9, and got 2 level 8s, so just 171 3s to go.

@@sandal_thong8631 Congrats!. Sometimes it's the little things when used correctly like the hatch you got can make all the difference. A 10 hrof is a big difference too, especially come EL. Since my last post I've gained my 3hm, a lvl 10 weapon and armor buff on navy, all which are huge! It's a grind, but every improvement makes a difference.

I been playing around with Top war for about a month now, and there is always something new to learn, sometimes its obvious what each little feature does, but after about 6 weeks (i usually just play a while, and then restart a new account as I learn more and want a clean restart, as you often miss so much, and its free to play so no money wasted) and thanks to your video I had an "AHHHH" moment - i honestly didn't know about the "lazy rewards" - which you collect when you click on the dump truck in the window - (no one ever explains this, they just assume you know), its like when you donate to the tech of your alliance, but don't realize you need to donate to building your forts as well (do one then the other) for a while there I only thought I could donate to the Tech. Anyways, love a game that keeps challenging me, thanks for the video.

If you keep restarting you're never going to make it to max level lol. Even after a year of playing I still kept finding new things about this game. It's crazy how complicated they make it and have little information they give us

Donating to tech is more expensive than donating to ruin and forts. The latter don't count towards daily achievements, though. I think you get better rewards when you wait 4 hours to collect on the "dump truck" ship. It may not be 4 hours in real time; I think it goes a little faster.

Thanks. I watched this again after exceeding level 60 which gave me more options for Components. I'd been stuck forever at Mande Straits 7-23; my navy vs their air. I tried increasing army including Suppress bonuses against air to 30, but it didn't work, and my navy could still put 3x or more damage on Boss or Guard than army. I tried your "PdP" or "PvP" plan (not sure what you said), even though my Decreased DMG and DMG Increase were 6 instead of my opponent's 7. It worked right away! I've set up plans 2 & 3 for Sand Table and Boss from your other video. I haven't been able to get 3 heroes to add to 100 to get the better rewards. I got 3 to make 90 a long time ago which was the goal, but then the bar increased to 100. If they're heroes I use, I might try increasing their levels to see if their number goes up, though some are stuck until their star goes up.

PVP, player vs player is probably what I said. It's annoying the game restricts your comps till 60. But at least you get to customize it more. Once you hit 3 hero I'm sure you'll crush it. I beat it while still 2 hero

@@WGtopwar I'm over lv. 70 now, and it seems the first trick of Expedition is to build up a secondary force that can use suppressions on the force that uses suppressions on your main force (which will take time). The other trick is when the opponent's high-rate of fire lets it attack with all its units first, you need to survive with enough units so that you can fight back. (Took your advice to switch to Dex.) I may have said it elsewhere, getting some Equipment for army helped, especially the blue chip which can be swapped between forces, so it's not a waste. I've been experimenting with skills: two +6 march is my best, ATK+30% is good with HP +30%. HP +12% seems to work better than Dodge +10% and +4 march. You said Bradley is a top free hero for defense and I can see why, but I chose Friedman Hertz (I initially wrote "Friedrich Hurtz") because he can shut down air force attacks. Increasing my army-air suppressions from lv 33 & 40 to lv 41 & 45 didn't get me past 10-7, but one more each plus moving him from 2.0* to 2.3* did. (I spent gems on Hertz shards, and didn't use universals; those got my top guy, Nimitz to 4.1* this week.) I'll have to check if getting his exclusive skill to lv 3 is better than HP+12%. During Transformers event I got a lot of shards for Starscream to upgrade him to 3 stars and level 80, without costing me orange for my main, as well as for his exclusive skill to get it to level 4, which works better than other skills. After the late-April event, I spent points on exclusive skill points, getting 54 more for Starscream's to reach level 5, which besides increasing his skill gives +20% DMG Increase to all units with him, along with the +20% HP from level 3! He's Air Force, but works with army units just fine. This allowed me to beat level 10-13, but now I'm stopped at 10-16. Oh well. Just thought I'd drop an update. Maybe it can help someone too.

Before I got to level 80, I pushed both Sid and Alex to 3* and level 80 for the hero bond. This allowed me to make 100 here for the extra rewards some weeks, but not all. A few other heroes got to 3* naturally, too, which helped. But once I got Nimitz to 5*, staying above 100 is a sure thing now.

I beat the final level some time ago and it was underwhelming; same as clearing the enemy off your base map.* Now my Hertz isn't good for much except SvS Warzone for air force, which I still can't win. If I could do it over, I wouldn't have bothered spending resources trying to improve a 2nd force's hero like Hertz to win the level battles, and 2nd force's suppressions. Getting the bonus rewards for collections with a 5* orange is still good though. *Clearing enemies off the base map usually didn't give rewards after clearing the tiny islands, so it wasn't worth spending gold until income was so much it didn't cost anything.

@@zaydoon962 reset is what people call the time of day when all your events reset. For example you can only request help from alliance members 10 times per day. Reset is when the count resets back to 10

What does "increase battle round cap" mean in Grand Marshall tier? Worth investing in? I can't find any info about it. Great post; thanks for sharing!

Increase battle round cap is a general perk every level 80 has access to. It mostly only helps you against the world boss and maybe the sand table. If you reach a certain round the game automatically kicks you out of the fight otherwise it would keep going until all your units or all the enemy units were dead such as the world boss. Normally the world boss kicks you out after 36 rounds but if you increase your max battle round cap you can stay in there longer thus doing more damage

I bought a ton while leveling up. but stopped when I realized the class skills can require as much as 500 class items for 1 upgrade. luckily because I started buying early I have been able to keep class research going non stop

The best place at the moment is the Gem Gift event that happens once every 4 weeks I believe just after the week that has the gem point event. I save my gems all month and don't even participate in the gem point event so I can get all the rewards from gem gift. You will need 50K to get the max rewards but even if you don't hit that mark I believe there are still some perk books for the lower reward tiers

Pretty much everything I can recommend is in this video. Eventually no matter how well you execute the strategies at some point you just need to get strong and/or upgrade other types of heros to take advantage of suppressions

im on level 44 LOL i got a few 3 star heroes but enough to fill the weekly hero table with 5 stars like you!.... Na! I guess it really is a matter of get lost and come back with a credit card or play for a year to match that for me! Best CP i can muster is 39! Was hoping for a beginners guide but all the ones i have seen have been very advanced!

What were you expecting? At level 44 you're not going to hit 100 CP. There is no "beginner" guide that's going to get you all the rewards. That like asking for a guide to get end game stats and early game levels

I have red dot for expedition base. But once I click on it. I cannot find what needs attention. When I exit the red dot still there which means there are still some outstanding task

It might be a package for sale for real money. They show up as you hit certain check points along the way and will go away after a day or 2. Also you might still have your free expedition rush that needs to be done. or possibly suppressions that can be upgraded. I think that can do it as well

At a certain point in the fight you will automatically be kicked out regardless of whether or not one side or the other has died. For example after round 36 you are kicked out of the fights for the world boss. If it didn't kick you out the fight would continue to go until all your troops were destroyed or the world boss was dead. Generally the only two things that you reach the Max battle round cap are on sand table and world boss. Sand table is much harder to reach the Max round but you can potentially increase your damage for both the sand table and the world boss if you increase your Max battle round cap because you can fight longer.

I'm a lil bit confuse about marching troops in this expedition base.. It's not the same march size like a normal marching troops that i used in attacking.. It's become less troops in expedition..

Yes, unfortunately it only gives you a set amount of troops to work with. but that means you can take march size increase off and replace it with something else such as an exclusive skill, or a common dmg/atk

@@MoonDrelax No that is in fact wrong, it does count march size skills and the higher stage you are at the more units the game provides to you, i made a video on this myself yesterday but the recording crashed twice since i made it on my old backup phone with low lvl alt to show things better i cant really do it again right now i will though in a day or 2 and upload it again. It doesnt count one of the ways you can gain march size but its not the skills (watch my video tomorow to see which one :D)

No, "high rate of fire" is the one that affects attack speed. On my recent videos I have started improving my subtitles. The English is no longer auto detect. so the Spanish translation of them should be more accurate 😁

I think I watched it. I only spend universals on 1 hero - Nimitz, and only buy orange shards for 100, 150 or 200 gems in Hunting Guild's World Treasure store.

If you're referring to leader dismissal yes. How long you have to wait to be able to dismiss your leader depends on your rank. I believe anybody who is an r4 can dismiss after either three or five days of the leader being inactive. And as you go down and ranks it takes longer. However, for everybody, you have to be in the alliance for a minimum of 7 days before you could dismiss an inactive alliance leader. So if you wanted to take over a completely dead alliance and it allowed you to join without having to send an application you would still have to wait 7 days before dismissing a leader regardless of how long he's been inactive

@@WGtopwar Someone tried an interesting strategy. They used a secondary account to take over a dead alliance, then moved their fortress next to ours in order to stop people from porting on that edge during KE (or those ignoring whether it's KE or not). I'm surprised more people don't do this. My old alliance has since actually moved away from the 3 dead or nearly-dead fortresses that were providing some cover!

I've seen the strategy. Generally you only see it in toxic servers or for a very short time while servers are still growing. Old established servers don't do this unless something is very wrong

@@WGtopwar Well, I must be on a toxic server because people port next to another hive and attack the unshielded, which I thought was normal during KE. There are nutters that think they don't need to play by the rules anymore and attack outside of KE! Leaders were leaving their alliances and attacking so it wouldn't show on the alliance chat, then coming back with p.o.'d people coming after us/them. We got people changing their names and alliances to hide their "crimes". I don't believe in group punishment, but what's their alternative? I thought we didn't attack gatherers, but got a surprise during recent Eternal Lands and the last SvS.

My suppressions did most of my heavy lifting. I got past an Air Force level using my mediocre army that still had a level 80 katy.

I just got through 10-44 (my tanks v AF), passed 10-45 (my navy v navy) no problem, but 10-46 (my tanks v AF) is too much for me. The HP of each unit went from 44.5 to 68/78 to 167/191 where the latter have two types of units. My HP is 17-20 each, so I don't see it happening with a few +1.2% increases in suppressions soon either. I think my breakthrough was from getting Starscream to 4* and level 100 to use with army (Hertz). If I'd known Transformers was coming around this week, I could have waited and saved some orange shards.

I gave pretty much everything I can think of to get farther in the expedition base in this video. But even if you follow everything in the video eventually you're going to hit a wall no matter what. It was very common for us to get stuck on a level for sometimes weeks at a time. You might just have to put it off for a little while while you get stronger. It's always a good idea also to watch the battles so you can find out what is going wrong. Sometimes you're high fire rate is n't fast enough, sometimes the enemy just hits harder than you, there are many things that could be the issue and without seeing your battle report I can't say exactly

Expedition only lets it use the troops it assigns unfortunately.

@@spade7195 I think that might be the level that I finally broke down and leveled up my Katyusha. I only have her in the '70s but it was enough to put me over the last few levels of expedition

@@WGtopwarI just passed that level last week by using Hammer on defense with Nimitz instead of Simon w/Nimitz. After bumping Hammer to lv 109, I increased several skills: two HP+30 to HP+45 w/HP+18, DMG dec(-) from 10% to 12%, and Dodge from +10 to +12. Starscream's skill/ability is like Katyusha's and I levelled him up for 10-44 (army v AF). I don't usually use him with navy, but may try it as he's my #2 orange hero if I get stuck against Navy again.
