Where we hunt everyone in the area leaves their decoys out all season, the minimum is about 100-200 and some blinds have about 1000. Its a small town though so its the honor system and taking or shooting someones decoys is a big No No lol. Now in this video its obvious someone left it. But given thats the hunting style I grew up in, I wouldn't take anyone decoys unless it was randomly down river or lake and it was obvious it was lost. But most people write their name on the bottom so I would likely return it.

This deek was off of the side of the Intercoastal waterway miles from any spread. I think Mother Nature put it there via the wind. Nobody was hunting close to us. I’m not the type of person to take things that aren’t mine and if I thought it belonged to someone I would have returned it to them. Thanks for watching🤠

You Can just cut out the middleman by stealing them directly from the store

Lmao…….but that would be illegal sir. This was a random decoy miles from any spread. I’m not a guy that takes other peoples stuff. It’s not like there was a spread anywhere remotely close to this DEEK

Sometimes you can get lucky and find 30 or 40 just all bunched up together right by the shore

I got my goose decoys back after some other kind hunter put em on shore for me. Hope you did the same, but I'm guessing they got brought home for free so the original owner can pay twice...

Hey Dalton, I would have gladly given the decoy code whom ever it belonged to but there was nobody in our area for miles. I can only assume the decoy was from many days or weeks before I got there. The Decoy was donated to my buddies collection since I’m just a poor KZfaqr not able to afford a spread of my own. Thanks for watching 🤠

Their are two main reasons decoys like that get left all over in my area. 1: rich people that don’t care to pick them all up. 2: people that go in fifteen feet of water with four foot decoy lines and are too lazy to chase em when they drift off. Neither of these asshats needs their decoys back or really even wants them. They’re litter and need to be picked up just like the bottles and everything else.

Those belonged to someone's spread. 1 good storm and they can be miles from the spread. Leave them the owners will find them eventually

If you leave your duck decoy on public water that’s your problem not mine
@jumbome74207 ай бұрын
Lol it’s not a free decoy when you throw your own decoy in the water to make a video.
