No, these are just trials. For something permanent you would need to pay. The closest you’d be able to get is freedompop, I believe you can still get a sim through them for $10 that will give you 50 MB of data, unlimited calling minutes and unlimited sms texts. It used to be 500 MB a month but they cut it down to keep it free. The only drag with this is that you have to log into the account every month and press “reactivate”, if you don’t, your sim card will deactivate and you’ll have to buy a new one.

Unfortunately if it’s locked you won’t be able to use an eSIM. Sometimes you can use eSIMs if they are using the AT&T network.

I'm not totally sure what would and wouldn't work in Africa but I would recommend researching travel eSIM's for use in Africa. I've heard that Airalo would work there.

Right, Truphone doesn’t have its own cell towers, they do what’s called roaming and they connect you to a local network in your area. In this case it connected you to ROGERS Wireless for the cell coverage.

I would probably do a little research on international Sims, unfortunately I'm quite unfamiliar with what Sims are avaliable in that location.

Depending on where you live there will be a 1 day trial, a 7 day trial, or both.

If it has an active number then yes! There’s a wide range of plans you can get from many different company’s, from data only to full on unlimited. It has the same function as a physical sim. It’s just the difference of it being a physical sim and a digital sim.

Absolutely! Also if I were you I would just use a VPN, much easier then using a whole different SIM. You can even find free ones on the app store! :) You can change your location to wherever you want it to be!

Unfortunately eSIM is for iPhone and Android devices only. iPod isn’t meant to have phone capabilities.

The point is to have the data for whatever you want to use it for, you can FaceTime video and audio call over it along with use iMessage via your Apple ID or an already activated number with this SIM.

You would probably benefit from checking out my free esim videos that do come with a phone number and a LOT more data, I need to make a new one for the T-Mobile trial since they just switched from the old network trial to a new one.

The 100MB is completely free, no credit card required, after the 100MB is used you can choose to buy more data or not buy more data. It’s up to you what you’d like to do at that point. It won’t automatically charge you after you use the 100MB.

You can delete the eSIM from your device by going to cellular > tap on the sim you want to delete > then scroll down to the bottom and tap delete esim then confirm it

Oh my apologies, I had originally thought you commented on a different video. This eSIM only includes data, there’s no phone number attached. There would be no way to enable Wi-Fi calling with it since it can’t call or text, you’ll only be able to use iMessage and FaceTime using the data which works through data or wi-fi already by default.

Okay so with this one no, but with the T-Mobile 5G Test Drive yes! Check out my latest videos on it but there’s a glitch we discovered to make it work. I have not made a video on it as I don’t want it to get out and then have the t-mobile software development team find out and fix it but it gives you unlimited talk, text, and 30GB of Premium 5G Prioritized Data for free.

Correct, although you won’t have calling and SMS functionality from the number on the iPad, however you will still have access to iMessage. You can also set it up and settings to be able to text from your phones phone number so not only would you be able to use iMessage but you would be able to use SMS on the iPad but it would be going through your phones number.
