Also guys I have to add the Wiman app to this list of things you need to give you access to open WiFi Hotspot for free so you won't have to pay for phone plans anymore. Wiman has connected me to about 10 hidden hotspots in my area in which I'm always around. Didn't even know it ! So yes! I don't need unlimited data plan nor phone service. It worth it!

my 11 pro has been acting up giving “invalid sim” messages repeatedly. I finally took the time to remove my sim and now all of a sudden, my data works again. I have no SIM card in my phone though for some reason, I can make calls, and use my service.

This is cool, but it requires having broadband at home, the one place you are not likely to get Free WiFi. If you are already paying for WiFi at home, then these apps are a great way to take advantage of free voice service. You'd think every cable and fiber company would include a service like this for free for customers.

Well, most public services like coffee shops, restaurants, etc, have wifi, most routers today are connected to a server that offers wifi connection to everyone that have an account on that service. So the real difference between having these apps or not is really like on if you are shy to ask the public service for the password or not.

It clearly says you can message offline. Also I recommend trying out the Hike Messenger app too! That's another great app. I might even upload a video about that app as well.

i use this app called FREETONE it even works on an old iPOD 2nd gen but its called TEXT ME as the older version of the app. You can pick your phone number Free any state any area code as long as you keep using it you dont lose it lol. All you need to sign up is an active email address. You can make & recieve phone calls, text , send attachments, video calls, MMS, and even setup a voicemail. And if you use encryption and or a VPN you can retain your ANONYMITY.. Its a free burner that you can delete in a touch of a button and hop onto the next number if that one is compromised .. Basically EVERYTHING and its all over wifi so its VOIP. If you have cable which most of us do , I have optimum. There are so many optimum hotspots that I can be on the road and as long as im logged in to optimum it jumps node to node as i travel i almost never lose service so you can go that route if you dont care about anonymity. You can give it permission to read from your contacts so you dont have to remember copy paste or type any math up in there I call it the trap app :)

Glad to help out .. Yes its definitely a cool app I have been using it a while now so I know its not going anywhere. It works on both Android and Apple platforms. I mean it even lets you set up a voicemail if you want, you can add additional lines for free as long as your calling the US or Canada. For people who want to get rid of that landline bill but still want one all you need is an old device that has access to the google playstore or the apple app store and if you have WiFi at home you now have a house phone with answering machine. Nothing to do with the video but if your sick of your iCloud telling you your out of space to buy more. Or your spending money on microSD cars... DON'T. a little bit of both. There are some apps like WhatsApp and IMO will allow you to send a text message through. But only to their servers til you get data or wifi. So it just means messages is idle til there is a connection. But you can send messages for Free

This att app does your cellphone work for only att services or will it work on any android, or text now on my tablet. Also will this only work if theres a wifi signal

Well. It's tricky. Because once you have an att phone and sign in to your Google play account from the att phone. All the att apps will appear on your Google play account. So once you sign in again on another device with that same Google play account those att apps (including att WiFi hotspot app) will be on all devices that have that account. As for as textnow or anything else it will work but you need to get a cheap att android device like a ZTE maven or LG. Don't spend too much. Then set up the account. Link it to your Google play. Test it that way and just return the phone.

Do not get any sim card lol it cost money to first connect and then after that you are only getting 200 minutes free and some text and data, best to just go find free wifi hot spots.I've been using the free xfinitywifi hotspots all over the place where I am and Opera browser with the free VPN it comes with. I found an app to let me dial out and make free calls over the internet I use groove ip that at&t app is gone or they change the name. There are plenty of other apps though.

Free tone is great it will give you some phone number to choose from? You can call anyone for free and text for free and even called Canada for free.for me thats a plus.if u have wifi . Private or public WiFi it will work.i have a cheap phone Android luna pro Samsung Galaxy no sims card at all?
