I have a question, is running the motor direct to the shaft going to be harder on the motor over time with the vibration compared to running it with a belt?

Sure do make some fine powder out of those rocks,in keeping the dust down in the bucket could you put a foam rubber plug where outlet pipe pierces thru.Sure would like trying one of those rock crushers on a pile of quarts rock i've collected .Love your videos with You and Slim -You guys are a hoot. Maybe use a small vacuum that's attached to the inlet. You throw the rock in the hole and than quickly plug it with vacuum hose. It will suck the dust particles to prevent clogging I think.

Jeff, I have the 14" pipe, one end cap, and a 6 1/2 hp engine. A bit more metal and wait till it cools off enough to fab one together. Thanks for the pointers on where to position the output screen! Sometimes the spot that seems to be correct (on the bottom) isn't really the best place.

Hey Jeff, great video as always my friend. I'd be happy spending all day crushin stuff in the impact mill, yeeeee-ha! Mind you, I would suggest putting a guard over the rotating shaft of that mill, you get a shirt sleeve or piece of loose clothing caught in that you are in for a nasty ride, ouch! Tell Joanne she needs to get or make one of them things. Hope to see you soon, still waiting for your private jet to come and pick me up!

Another great piece of work, Jeff ! The "Ole Girl" actually encourages it knowing full well I'll be pulling the old disappearing act soon. Good or Bad ? 🤔 But, I'm makin' me a ROCK CRUSHER ! 😁 There's No Doubt about that ! This winter in Arizona is going to be Golden ! I'll be watchin' the Deserts Washes and Rises for ya. Always love you (and Slim) and the adventures you take. Geology is AWESOME! Have you ever addressed Silicosis (I think that is the spelling) that affected underground miners in the past? It's great that you wear your mask/breather while you're down in the mine. Bless you heart and stay safe!
