Good video, although I feel like I haven't done enough for a showreel. I finished film school about a year n a half, and its been very hard to get anything.

Great tips, especially because I need to reshoot my reel 😅 Now with each shoot I do, I pick my 4 favourite shots and put (SR) at the end of the file name. When I have enough clips, I can just search SR and get all my clips together. (So far I have 4 clips) haha.

The way I get clients is through my website. I display my projects on my home page and my website has proper SEO and I also pay for Google ads. I'm very fresh though I think I need some more time to do a proper reel.

Saying that ''if you want to get hired you need to have a reel " is the same thing as saying "if you want to get married you need to find a woman" . Extremely vague, and probably not as important as networking, marketing, spec ads, word of mouth and recruitment websites that actually help you get hired.
